Adults only so very quiet and civilised. Laid back attitude of Trevor, the owner..just lets everyone get on with it and doesn't patrol the site like the wardens do at some other places we've stayed. Huge level pitches. Ours had a picnic table and a water tap which would have qualified as a super pitch at other sites and would have cost more. The barn complex with all the shops (especially the butcher) and restaurant are awesome as is the large orchard with its apple trees, pear trees, Christmas trees, blackcurrants, red currants, asparagus...lovely to walk through. Bathrooms were excellent..only 2 showers but I never had to wait. Farmers market was on when we arrived on a Saturday and on Wednesday an excellent seafood truck is onsite from 8am serving all sorts of fresh fish and other seafood. We had a couple of dressed Cromer crabs for dinner that night. All in all an excellent site.

A couple of suggestions..

There were no mirrors in the toilet/washbasin cubicles.

A hairdryer would be handy by the showers.

Also, the EE phone reception was shocking (not just onsite but in surrounding areas too) and no WiFi except in the barn complex. WiFi on the pitches would be appreciated even if just to research what to do and where to go during our stay.

Can't express enough how amazing this campsite is. We pitched up looking out into the woods and it was beautiful. Peaceful and tranquil and the owners were lovely. Even giving us a later check out for no extra charge. We were very sad to leave and will be back ASAP! Lovely to have the farm shop and seafood truck on site as well.

A good location for exploring Norwich and the Norfolk Broads, with a fairly regular bus service a short walk away.
The facilities are clean,
The owner Trevor makes us feel welcome.
The barn contains some shops and a cafe. We bought some nice meat from the onsite butchers.
If you like your ale, Woodfordes Brewery is fairly close.

The facilities, the gardens, the farmers shops even though it wasn't the market. Quality produce and friendly owners.

It would be good to have additional water taps but its no big deal.

We come here several times a year with our family & friends who all love it
Love this site for the location and the amenities at Black Barn,
Love that we can have pitches next to each other, very spacious plots

Re cycling bins would be a nice addition for the campers and the Elsan point could do with a tidy up
Also more water taps would be wonderful as the middle row has to push through the hedge ( which has grown a lot in the time we have been coming ) and the field row has non at all

Fabulous site based in beautiful grounds surrounding the barn/restaurant/shopping location and beautiful countryside.
Quiet site, we were there for farmers market which was great.
Large pitches, plenty of privacy.
Sanitary facilities kept immaculately clean.

Could do with a few more showers and sinks are just too small for washing etc. Also need mirrors in sink areas.
Had to queue to wash up. 2 stations inadequate

Lovely and peaceful.
