Lack of policing over people

Facilities were well maintained by staff. Staff members were professiinal, kind and courteous at all times.

Where to start....

1. Check-in was a fiasco, we were sent to 3 different locations to check in as nobody had a clue regarding our booking. Eventually, the paperwork was located and staff discovered that it was sent through to the site from pitchup with only a surname on it. This happened to another 2 visitors concurrently.

2. Pitches were not clearly marked, with staff members stating "just find an EHU and pitch up anywhere next to it". This led to overcrowding in multiple areas of the site.

3. Some visitors to the site were disrespectful, leaving rubbish (including cigarette butts) everywhere, very loud music and talking after 11pm, strong smelling cannabis, visitors riding around the site with loud powered motorbikes, and leaving the toilet and shower facilities unclean at times.

4. The fantastic new skate/bike track was overtaken by multiple older teens using powered motorbikes/scooters during our stay, leading to a lot of the smaller children being unable to use the facility safely.

5. The indoor pool is completely lacking in its changing facilities, having only 6 male and 6 female changing cubicles for the entire pool. No family changing rooms are present. This leads to extremely busy periods during the start and end of your 45 minute booking (9am - 5pm), which can only be booked via iPhone app, and only 1 booking can be made per day. The pool itself was clean and well manned, but due to popularity and lack of changing facilities was constantly busy.

6. The lack of an enforced curfew led to multiple complaints from visitors due to excessive noise after 11pm. (Especially from Viv and Jan during our stay). The lack of identifiable pitch allocations compounded the issue, with visitors unable to correctly identify the offending visitors to reception staff.

It's ok site but not much for adults on the site

Showers not very clean

Lots of space for the kids to roam around. Great facilities on site so kids are never bored.

Pitches aren’t allocated and numbered so people just pitch right next to you, feels a little cramped. I would imagine electric hookups were overbooked.

We thought this site was ace. For the money you pay this site is above and beyond

Good site esprecially for the kids.

They need to clean up some of the riff raff who drive round on motorbikes at speed with young children present

We loved Adventure island! Kids did painting, axe throwing (kids version) giant jenga and gold panning. All for free! Facilities for families and kids are amazing! Didn't need to go off the site as so much to do. Sitting in the amphitheater on the evenings we all said it felt like we were abroad! Great atmosphere and shows and movies were great. We will most definitely be back!

No proper showers in the swimming pool! All you have is 2 hot, 2 cold for coming in and out the pool. You can't really wash hair etc in those esp as everyone was coming out at the same time. There were 2 hairdryers in the pool changing rooms but none in the toilet blocks, so we went from the pool to the toilet blocks, for proper showers, and then to dry hair all the way back to the pool which was a total pain esp with 3 kids! But it was that or wet hair which you can't have when sleeping in a tent. Really need hairdryers in toilet block essential for us in tents, or plugs at least and proper showers in pool area please! Also 50p for lockers and you don't get it back!
Food was also a-bit slow so be prepared for a wait. Once it arrived it was great. Long que for drinks at the bar at peak times too but staff were all lovely.

Brilliant value for money. They have done alot there in the last few months and was amazing.

Really lovely Stay lots of fun things for the children to do. The Venu was great and so was the entertainment.

I think it was a little under staffed
