Non mi è piaciuto Nothing like seen in the photos. Owners are very unprofessional
Payed for £10 bag of wood which seemed like they’ve gone round the garden and picked up twigs to fill it. Also had random planks of wood. Not really fire logs.
Hot water in the shower lasted about 1 minute. Place was very boggy

Dal gestore: Hi Connor, I've tried to contact you to make amends and get to the bottom of what happened during your stay here. There appears to have been a mistake with the bag of firewood that was sold to you, which I'm more than happy to refund. The other things you mentioned don't add up, which is why I'd like to speak with you. Our showers are consistently hot unless the tank gets drained by misuse, which can occasionally happen if someone accidentally leaves a hot tap or shower running (a couple of times a year this tends to happen). Due to the unprecedented amount of rain the UK has experienced in the first quarter of 2026, pretty much all campsites in Wales are waterlogged to some degree at the moment. We have recently upgraded several pitches to combat this and are happy with the improvements. Other than these upgrades, I can't see how the site looks any different from the photos, except that most of our photos are taken in the full bloom of summer and that we are still tidying up after the recent works. Anyway, I'm sincerely sorry for your disappointment and am happy to make it up to you by way of a refund. I await your response to my email.

Mi è piaciuto An excellent rural location with beautiful views,and plenty of places to take a walk,streams and a river surround the area,so can enjoy the odd bridge to cross.
The site does need some work to upgrade it,such as the pitches,and definitely a new shower and toilet block,but I'm sure once achieved it will be a much better place to visit

Dal gestore: Thanks for your feedback, Paul. Unfortunately, your visit coincided with our pitch upgrade works which we were right in the middle of, so the site was looking a bit messy. We feel our shower block is adequate for this price point (do bear that in mind), and, again, in mid-winter the damp sets in to make it feel a bit run down. Most campsites close down at this time of year to avoid these issues, and once the weather warms up, the place will be looking a lot more bright and cheerful. Hopefully we'll see you again then.

Mi è piaciuto We loved the woodland location of this site and the fire pits (a guilty pleasure!), the sound of running water and owls. The owner was very friendly and accommodating and the site is extremely quiet.

Non mi è piaciuto There were limited facilities due to the off-peak period of our stay and due to frozen pipes, but the facilities we could use were very clean. Pitchup need to make it more clear that the balance to be paid on site must be cash. It is buried in the confirmation email.

Mi è piaciuto Beautiful and quiet! Although no walking directly from the site, plenty of walks within less than five minutes drive. Parked by a small stream, it was lovely listening to that, along with the hooting sound of tawny owls at night. Lampeter has a great vegan/veggie shop and restaurant and the food was delicious. Enjoyed my visit to mid Wales. This area of Wales is outstandingly beautiful and needs protecting at all costs.

Mi è piaciuto Beautiful quiet location. Friendly and informed host. Good hot showers. Had a fire in the evening and enjoyed the stars. The mobile reception is very limited so had a screen detox which was much needed. The check out time is generous.

Mi è piaciuto Nice surroundings, pitch was great for families, a little noise over the field from the larger family group but we liked this as we didn’t feel we were the noisy ones! Owner was lovely and helpful. Relatively flat pitch, section was made private with a small shrubbery to highlight where your spot was.

Non mi è piaciuto Facilities were ok, far from luxury but enough to get by. Shame (although common) that people didn’t turn off the bathroom lights as there was a lot of bugs, moths ect in the loos

Was hard to find in the dark, could do with a clearer sign on the main road but not really much of an issue!

No signal near by but we liked being off-grid but appreciate this could be an issue for some

Mi è piaciuto Star gazing was amazing! The little swing set and Wendy house was a hit with my children (5, 4 & 3). Showers were powerful and hot! Toilets were good too, sometimes the toilet took a while to fill up before flushing if going in after someone else but not an issue really. Hearing the owls and foxes at night was amazing too! The person running the site seemed nice and helped us with any enquiries we had. Picnic bench on our pitch was handy aswell as the fire pit! Close shops like co op to get bits from and there’s a few takeaway places in Lampeter only 10 min drive (we got one on our last night it was fab)

Non mi è piaciuto Wasn’t fond of the sloping pitch, we made it work though. Noisy neighbours who didn’t care about what time it was, screaming and shouting at each other, also had an off lead dog attack my dog who was on lead which I wasn’t pleased about. It states in rules dogs to be kept on lead at all times but clearly they weren’t to fond of that rule. Nothing really around, anywhere you wanted to go such as attractions etc was at least 45 mins to an hour away which wasn’t ideal but my fault for not researching it properly. Stream that was advertised on pitch up as a place to paddle in wasn’t a stream at all more like a puddle which upset my kids a little.

Dal gestore: Apologies for the noisy neighbours and their dog, which should have been on a lead - I agree. I did have a word with them. The stream is normally suitable for paddling but with the summer drought, the water is very low at the moment. I'm glad you liked the rest of our facilities. Our location is what it is. We're not on the doorstep of anything much, but we're centrally located to quite a few things as long as people set aside enough time for the driving.

Mi è piaciuto Lovely site, friendly owner, clean hot showers, great size pitches all separated by shrubbery, plenty of space between pitches and everyone had a lovely view of the middle of the meadow

Non mi è piaciuto Only issue we had was people on pitch next to us were smoking cannabis which did spoil it for us a bit as the smell was being blown over, mentioned to the owner and he didn’t seem to be that bothered, was a bit disappointed with this response
