Roundoak Farm: campeggio tranquillo solo per adulti in splendidi dintorni. Ospiti apprezzano personale cordiale, piazzole curate, animali rari liberi. Strutture ottime, ma alcune necessitano ammodernamenti; bagni unisex. Strade strette. Consigliato per relax.

Mi è piaciuto The farm is beautiful. The grounds lovely and facilities more than what you need.
They have a barn that they’ve made into a bar (open for a few hours in afternoon if busy - it’s not a party place) which is so cute and full of fairy lights.
The woodland is again cute and our dog loved the shaded walk as it was warm whilst we were there.
Loved seeing the rare breeds and the chickens, birds, turkeys etc roaming around
Keen to try the sister site soon too.

I won’t lie, to my husband I was like oh I’d love a place like this (not that we could afford it lol).
But reality dawned it when the cockerels started crowing (like 4:30am) and the rest of the farm slowly started coming to life - i decided to leave it to the pros and dip in and out camping :)

I take on board what you say about a mop
There is usually a bucket and mop at the entrance to the shower and W C
I don’t know why it was not there
I will check
I have to say it’s nice to know that you have respect for our facilities
You cannot believe the mess some people leave
We clean the showers and toilets sometimes three times a day
It a pity you did not find me so that i could of rectified the situation

Mi è piaciuto Peaceful and tranquil. Beautiful views, flat pitches which are very well maintained and a dream to pitch on. Not overcrowded and loads of space. Love that is a working farm. Loved our stay so much we are back there next weekend. Facilities are clean, plenty hot water. Regularly cleaned. Hosts Norman and Ruth were very pleasant and obviously passionate about their lovely farm. We came back fully recharged.

Mi è piaciuto This site is not for everyone. If you like to play music, like kids around playing and cycling, if you like a bar then this is not for you. If you appreciate quiet, lots of space, beautiful views, spotless facilities then like me, you’ll love Roundoak Farm. The owner showed us around on arrival and then just left us to it apart from smiles and waves as we came and went. This is a working farm but we were never woken in the mornings by farming activities nor did it go late into the evenings. In short, this was exactly what we’d hoped it would be. We will definitely be going back.
Non mi è piaciuto I can usually find the odd little niggle to mention here, but to be honest I cannot think of a single thing that we disliked, though, maybe the lack of WiFi in 2025 is a decision I don’t understand, but that is all. Well done Ruth and Norman, you have a fabulous product and we’d love to visit again.

It is an interesting concept in a world trying to get away but still wanting to stay in touch!
