Questo sito per soli adulti e amici dei cani è lodato per pace e tranquillità, piazzole spaziose e livellate, e posizione comoda vicino alla A1 e servizi del villaggio. Mentre i servizi sono descritti come basilari ma puliti e adeguati, alcuni suggeriscono un aggiornamento; è in costruzione un nuovo blocco. Le 6A di corrente, considerate limitanti da alcuni, sono un tema ricorrente. Nonostante occasionali problemi con lavori stradali o scarsa interazione, molti lo trovano un ottimo punto sosta/base rilassante e tornerebbero.

Mi è piaciuto The pitches were just the right size. The surrounding area was really lovely with good walks and quiet area.
Non mi è piaciuto The shower was extremely hot, boiling. There wern't any warning signs in the shower and I actually scolded my self after turning it on ,waiting for it to get to the right temperature and getting in for it to change to boiling without touching the controls. The shower itself was very clean and spacious, just with boiling water.

Mi è piaciuto Beautiful peaceful site within easy reach of A1. Well maintained site in beautiful countryside.
Very clean facilities. Water pressure good and plenty of hot water.
Ideal dog walking area, walks from site with footpaths on main road.
Had the added bonus of having the site to ourselves on the second night.
Definitely planning to return.

Peaceful site in nice location.

Mi è piaciuto Great size level pitches with plenty of green space for dogs. I received a message before arrival and name was on the board to allocate pitch number, we are fine with no reception, we actually like to just come and park up. Shower block is in need of an update but saying that the shower was great, lots of room for changing, lovely hot water and a proper turn on shower, no pushing buttons for more water. It was lovely and peaceful at night, we were going to walk to the abbey but arrived too late so walked to the pub instead which is very close.

Non mi è piaciuto Pitches a little narrow, so this time of yea (Oct), stepping out onto grass wasn't ideal.

Mi è piaciuto Excellent park up for one night as we toured around the Dales for 5 days. Site was spotless and well looked after. Toilets and shower facilities were clean and tidy with plenty hot water. Lovely quiet site walking distance from village witb lovely pub and shop.

Toilet and shower basic. And only one room for men.

Dal gestore: Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review, I'm sorry you didn't enjoy your stay with us, unfortunately you booked after I had left for the day so your name was not on the board but you should have received a text from me with your pitch number on, we also do state on pitchup that we don't have a reception. There is a second toilet/shower block on the other side of the site and our new shower block will be ready for next season.
