Mi è piaciuto Very peaceful, love the cut out pitches amongst the long grass, felt like you were a million miles from anywhere but with campsite owners just a phone call away if needed. There is a fridge you can use in the building across the road if needed. Lots of dog walks right from the campsite. No electric, but good gas shower, compost loos and washing up area. Ideal for a simplistic few days of peace and quiet.

Mi è piaciuto Really enjoyed my stay here, very friendly welcoming on arrival shown where everything is, nice quiet area, got to choose from free plots to pitch up with plenty room park car aswell, toilets close by very clean and well stocked, looking forward to visiting again 😀

Good campsite and bell tent but bring your own pillows!

Non mi è piaciuto Right next to a road with regular traffic, pillows were not much more than a pillowcase - very soft, very flat so had a poor night's sleep.

Mi è piaciuto This felt like old-school, wild camping, with plenty of room to spread out, dog friendly, quiet, and we loved it. Spacious pitches next to a wood in a wild flower meadow, with a picnic table, a hammock and a fire pit at each pitch. Pitches are separated by a patch of wildflowers and grasses. The 'surf shack' shower and 3 composting toilets are spotless and spider-free (my personal phobia!). There is grey waste disposal, a sink for dishwashing, fridge and freezer. The Felsham road runs parallel to the site but behind a row of beautiful elms, and is not busy enough to be a bother. We saw hares and deer in the field behind the site, and heard the barn owls hoot.
Laura and Jason were genuinely friendly and helpful hosts - thank you, guys! An amazing experience in a Greener Camping Club site. We'll be back!

Mi è piaciuto Peaceful setting with very widely spaced pitches. Lovely meadow with mown areas for camping. Clean and simple toilets. There was a shower but we didn’t use it. You can driver you vehicle to the pitch and park there which is convenient.

We had a great few days. Really liked the site and would come again.

Mi è piaciuto We were not close to other people. Areas of wild grasses and flowers separated the tents. An area was set up to do cooking/eating with a picnic table and an awning. Very useful as it rained off and on while we were there. The site manager/owner was very pleasant, thank you for the vase of flowers you left.

Mi è piaciuto Good site with great efforts towards green living. Probably one of the best pitches I have stayed on with plenty of space in a secluded grass pitch with a bench and seats plus a metal fire pit.
Warm welcome on arrival and given a walk round to select a pitch. Very quite at night. Decent O2 phone signal.

Non mi è piaciuto The entrance has low trees if you have a higher motorhome. I had to nudge under slowly so might be a problem if they catch solar panels or aerials. The first field is has no obstructions but the track to the nicer pitches is narrow with brambles brushing both sides, it certainly added a couple of scratches to my windows at about the 2+ metre heigh. Probably not a problem for smaller outfits of if the undergrowth is trimmed back.
