Pondering your base for the Peak District? The adults-only cabin at Horsleygate Caravan Site, just outside of the national park, is a pretty pick if you prefer a proper bed to a sleeping bag. Modern and well-equipped, it’s on a quiet, small and friendly caravan site surrounded by the stunning Derbyshire countryside. If you like the outdoors, this is a fine spot indeed… For your days out in the Peak District, the cabin is a 15-minute drive from Baslow, 20 minutes from Chatsworth House and Bakewell (yes, famed for its Bakewell pudding) and 40 minutes from Buxton. Outside of the national park, it’s a 20-minute drive to Chesterfield and 35 minutes to Sheffield. There are several pubs within walking distance of Horsleygate Caravan Site, and restaurants and cafés are a short drive away. Dronfield, 10 minutes' drive away, has larger supermarkets, petrol stations and pharmacies. Inside the cabin, there is a modern bathroom with a large shower and a bedroom with a cosy double bed. The well-equipped kitchen has a full oven, kettle and a dining table for two. On the private decking, there’s another dining table for soaking in the lush green scenery.
