Questo campeggio è apprezzato per le splendide viste sul Peak District e l'atmosfera pacifica. No set boundaries for the pitch, which means its a free for all and very limited space.
One pitch had 9 tents and 4 cars!
People smoking weed in the evening.
Not enough facilities for the amount of people.
Camping rules are not followed, with dogs off the lead.
Has the potential to be a nice campsite, but due to the above, we wouldn't return.

Mi è piaciuto Well maintained field, toilet/shower block great, wash up facilities great and well looked after, regularly cleaned. Port a loos on field where stocked with tissue paper and we saw these get professionally cleaned on sunday. We hired a fire pit and bought a log bag reasonably priced. The host was lovely, spoke with her a few times. She was there morning noon and night! It was really busy but we had no problems with other guests. Probably the only thing would be more showers!
Lovely weekend and we would definitely return.

Mi è piaciuto Fantastic spot and great views. Great location for walks to Castleton and the surrounding areas. Car was not required until we left.
Amenities were very good for a campsite, including hot water for washing up!
Clean and well stocked. The owner was constantly making sure everything was clean and tidy.
She was also very friendly and helpful.
The campsite has only been open for two years and Stephanie is doing a great job 👍

Mi è piaciuto Fantastic spot! Plenty of space and beautiful views. Location was close to mam tor, hope and castleton making trips out enjoyable! Amenities were brilliant, well stocked and clean - the showers exceeded expectations from standard camping spots. Female owner was incredibly friendly and helpful.

Mi è piaciuto The space was well organised and a very peaceful. Toilets were clean and showers were warm. Great for if your travelling and need somewhere that allows later registration times.
Non mi è piaciuto Not so much as disliked, but having a hook on the toilet door would be great for thoes wet days when you need to hang up your coat and go to the loo. Also prehaps popping a mop and bucket near the showers so people can give it a quick clean up after themselves from the cut grass/mud.

Mi è piaciuto Got back this morning from a wonderful visit to this absolutely amazing camp site!! The views was out of this world 😍 Steph the owner greeted us on arrival and popped in to see how we was doing on her rounds checking in making sure everything was ok!! I was a little worried cos of some of the reviews but it’s nothing like some as said it was absolutely amazing, nice clean toilets and shower block extra portable loos was available for the weekend which was cleaned all the time, wash basing to clean all your pots and pans, plus fresh drinking water was available which came in handy with the weather being amazing. There was fresh eggs and ice creams with an honesty box, also sausage & bacon was available if you rang her son up (next time we will take advantage of this) so a massive shout out to Steph thank you for an amazing stay making memories with our little family we will be back ❤️ (from the Conroy family)
