Kedvelték What a beautiful spot this is. Securely situated with a gated entry into a lovely field with trees and picnic benches. Firepits also available to enjoy the beautiful starry skies when clear. Lovely facilities with clean loos and proper showers. Hot water for washing up and a chemical loo disposal spot. Very cute guinea fowl (I think) roaming about and there are ducks there too. Best of all is the position next to the River Trent (over the road out of the gate) which was truly stunning. Great walks along the river bank. Also several pubs and eateries within a 5 minute walk. Highly recommended spot.

Kedvelték Hard standing level pitch. Plenty of picnic tables and also fire pits and wood available when weather permits. Facilities were fine and appreciated the indoor washing up facilities. Loved that there was a path straight into Stockbridge away from the road. Lovely little town with great shops and a few pubs. Only about 10-15 mins walk depending on pace. The campsite is just off a main road so you can hear the traffic in the day, but it quietened down at night. It’s got everything you need for a pleasant stop over.

Kedvelték Lovely quiet spot with fire pits. Cleanest compost loos I’ve been to. No smell!! Very peaceful overnight. Air traffic in the morning didn’t bother me at all. Mark was very welcoming.

Kedvelték Beautiful peaceful spot with spectacular views across the valley. Surrounded by joyous bird song. Wonderful facilities building including private cubicles with shower sink and loo. Real whimsey in the design with wooden animal carvings. If clear, there are stunning night skies to enjoy as no light pollution. Local roads are quiet and went for a lovely walk to a nearby deer park. Owners are really friendly and lots of info provided for things to do in the area. There’s a garage and shop within 5 mins drive if short of provisions. A wonderful small site with everything one could need.

Kedvelték Lovely peaceful site with level pitches and water/electric per pitch (in paddock 4). Liked the walking trail around the site. Staff very friendly. As others have said, imagine it can get very busy in the summer months, and if you’re a family with children this would probably be great.

Kedvelték What a wonderful site this is. The owners are putting such care and thought into creating a wonderful site. We were two friends in camper vans and parked up next to each other by one of the three man made lakes. Despite the rain and gales (storm Amy), we had a wonderful visit. The facilities are top notch with hot showers, a washing up station and plenty of bins for recycling. With no electric hook ups this is designed for off grid camping. The road onto the site is a steep hill so not suitable for caravans or large motor homes. We were shown around one of the three beautiful en-suite pods complete with king sized bed, living area and kitchen and power showers. If we hadn't been in the vans this would have been a great option. Outside there are table and chairs and fire pits. We've eyed them up for a future visit. For wild swimmers out there, the lakes are accessible at your own risk. My mate went in and said it was very brisk!! There's a separately run sauna that can be booked ahead of your visit. Once the clouds cleared, the views were spectacular. The site is just off the Dales Way and you can walk into Skipton in around an hour, where there are plenty of lovely independent shops and of course a good supply of pubs. Alternatively Skipton is just a 10 min drive away. There's also a steam railway close by, and Bolton Abbey. Walking routes a plenty. The site is only in it's second year and is already a wonderful place to visit. We'll definitely be back. Highly recommended. Kedvelték Beautiful small campsite with well laid out spacious pitches and a lovely view over the field. Enjoyed a 25 min walk into Kirbymoorside where there are a selection of cafes and pubs, supermarket, deli etc. Lovely wildlife too. Owl came out at night. Great access to the moors.

Kedvelték What a beautiful spot this is. Really well laid out with very spacious flat pitches cut out of the meadow grass. Surrounded by trees and very peaceful. The owners were very welcoming and helpful. As a solo traveller I felt very comfortable. The facilities are top notch for this kind of wild camping. Showers powerful and stay on (no 30 second timers!!). Loos spotlessly clean. There’s also washing ip facilities and plenty of recycling facilities. Although this was a short visit this time, I could see there are some walking routes from the site. Firepits and wood are available to hire too.

Kedvelték What a beautiful site this is. Surrounded by glorious nature and birdsong with a river running past. So peaceful. The pitch was flat and spacious. It’s a fairly small site so imagine even if full it wouldn’t feel crowded. There are a few electric pitches too. The facilities are excellent. There’s a small static with 2 loos and a shower, a kitchen to boil the kettle and wash up, a TV room and also a small honesty shop with home made goodies and basic provisions. There’s also a couple of portaloos and two eco showers. The bell tent looked lovely. The owners are very welcoming and friendly. Felt very comfortable. This is somewhere I’m definitely planning to return to. Thank you for creating this wonderful site.

Kedvelték What a glorious site this is. Absolutely in the middle of nowhere. Surrounded by birdsong, even an owl last night and a woodpecker this morning. Jason really helpful and provided some wood so we could enjoy a wonderful firepit last night. Stargazing a real treat. There’s a picnic table on each pitch. Facilities simple, in line with the type of campsite. Compost loos and a shower and a sink for washing up. Stayed with a friend in his camper and we were able to park next to each other and set up camp. Loved it, and will be back.

Kedvelték What a lovely site this is. Really friendly welcome. Beautifully set out with spacious pitches. Facilities top notch and well tended. So peaceful at night. Serenaded by the local owl. Stopped here as part of a road trip in Wales. Definitely in my ‘return list’.

Kedvelték What a beautiful site this is. A flat field surrounded by stunning nature. Facilities fabulous. Full bathrooms with shower sink loo. Spotlessly clean. Such a treat to have proper flushing toilets when wild camping. Firepit hire very reasonable @£10 for pit and logs. Perfect for a clear night when dark skies could be properly enjoyed. The welcome was very friendly and it felt very secure with the gate shut. Highly recommended.

Kedvelték This was a return visit. Love this site. Big field where you can park anywhere. There are a couple of beautiful looking yurts on site for those that are interested. We were two friends in campers who parked next to each other. We enjoyed a wonderful firepit, which are available for hire. There's a little shop selling their own farmed venison and lamb as well as various camping essentials (and ice-creams!). The facilities are excellent - really clean and proper flushing toilets. There's even a dish washer. What's not to like? Really friendly people running the site. Even though we returned in mid summer, which was much busier than the first visit, it didn't deter our enjoyment. Highly recommended.

Kedvelték What a lovely friendly welcome I received. Recent heavy rain meant the grass pitch was quite water logged, and Adam was really helpful in sorting me out on some gravel whilst still linking to the lecky. There's easy access from the site for some lovely walks. The pub on site serves breakfast if you don't want to cook. It was such a treat having the real fires. They've also converted one room into a sports lounge with excellent coverage of key events. There are also a couple of other pubs within walking distance in the area. The new shower block is really modern with hot powerful showers. There are loos there, and also at the front of the pub for after hours. On the Sunday the weather was lovely, which invited the bikers out zooming along the adjacent A road, but at night I didn't hear anything. The site is next to a donkey sanctuary too, which is a treat to watch them grazing happily.

Kedvelték A lovely small campsite on a farm with a very warm welcome. Plenty of space between pitches, which were nice and level. Lovely loo block and showers that are hot and stay on. None of the pressing a button every few seconds. Wifi worked well too. Went for a lovely walk direct from the site and you can also walk into Brecon along the river. It’s a short drive to the Brecon Beacons visitor centre. There’s also a beauty bar there! in case you need your nails done, although may have to book ahead 😄

Kedvelték What a wonderful site this is. Leigh was so welcoming on arrival, I felt right at home. Facilities are spotless. The location is beautiful with dark skies at night to enjoy the stars. There’s a well stocked farm shop less than 100m away as well as a cafe (closed Mon/Tue). The best thing was the stunning walk from the site down to Fingle Bridge and along the river up to Drogo Castle. About 4 hours in total, so a great day out with the pub at Fingle and cafe at Drogo. There’s also free Wifi, which was a bonus. This is a site on the ‘will come back’ list.

Kedvelték What a wonderful eco site this is. Spectacular location with stunning views. Each pitch is really spacious with it’s own compost loo (v clean), picnic table and firepit. There was also a washing up area and plenty of recycling. Logs can be purchased from the little onsite shop btwn 5&6pm. Coastal path really easy to get to. The pitches are not too close together so there’s a real sense of space. The owner was so warm and welcoming. Highly recommend this site.

Kedvelték What a glorious site this is. Beautifully kept with a picturesque lake to walk around and a private woodland circuit to enjoy. Away from traffic noise the birdsong floods in. Alison was very welcoming when I arrived and Dan was incredibly helpful finding a replacement fuse that had gone. I was in a camper and noticed lovely shepherd huts and pods are available too. There’s an area with a firepit that had been enjoyed recently. Imagine it would be lovely under the stars. The showers are being redone at the mo but there is still a family shower. Loos were really clear and plenty of hot water for washing up in the designated area. Reading some of the other reviews I was a bit apprehensive about what I would find, so was very pleasantly surprised. I’ll definiteky be back.

Kedvelték Beautiful setting by a lake, very peaceful and plenty of wild life. Nicely designed place with some lovely looking chalets overlooking the water, and a couple lakeside pitches.

Nem kedvelték It wasn’t the most welcoming place to stay. A few noisy neighbours and seeming long term lets. Difficult to put my finger on it, the vibe was a bit edgy. Perfectly fine for a night though.
