Kedvelték The views were stunning. The shower was hot. It was really quiet on the site as there were only 4 pitches taken- mid October. Saw an otter playfully rolling in the sea.

Nem kedvelték The facilities were quirky and no hot water to wash in. 😦 It would have been preferable to have a basin inside the loo cubicle- for a private wash. Dishwashing facility needs hot water and really needs to be bigger. We were in a van and there was hard standing, but the tent pitches were sodden, albeit this is October, probably a stretch to offer tent pitches through the winter months as drainage is poor( evidence of some work ongoing). Pitches appear to be really cramped if site were at full capacity, only suitable for small tents it would appear.

Kedvelték Nice flat pitches and plenty of room.

Nem kedvelték Washing up facilities very minimal with only one sink for such a large site and no hot water

Kezelői megjegyzés: Hey Susan, thanks for taking the time to leave feedback and what a great idea to stop off at ours before flying from Luton. Regards Martin

Kedvelték Very convenient overnight stop off enroute to Scotland. We were in a camper on the hard standing which was level. Enjoyed walking around the glamping site- very quirky

Nem kedvelték Quite a long walk to the toilets and shower from the campsite, all looking a bit ‘end of season’ tired.

Kezelői megjegyzés: Thank you for your review. I plan to alter the doors on the toilet cubicle during the close season.

Kedvelték Level pitches, tree boundary to fields breaking the site up into sections and providing some shelter from wind

Nem kedvelték Payment for showers a little irksome

Kezelői megjegyzés: Thanks for the great review. It's very much appreciated. Just one point of fact regarding our showers. There isn't and hasn't ever been a charge for showers, so it may be that there's confusion with another site. Kind regards. Jane and Terry.

Kedvelték The toilet and shower facilities are super, brand new and spacious

Nem kedvelték Our tent pitch was on the highest point and very exposed to wind. We were unable to pitch our awning/tent on the first night! ( but slept in the van instead). But , once the wind died down it was a fabulous pitch, quite private and not too far from facilities. Great location for exploring Wastwater.
