Kedvelték The site was very good value for a grass electric touring caravan pitch in the October half term. The toilet/shower block was always clean and nice an warm. We like the easy access to Wollacombe with its National Trust car parking as a base for coastal walks and surfing.

Nem kedvelték All of the bins and recycling areas were overflowing with rubbish when we visited and also both chemical toilet disposal points in our field were completely blocked up with toilet paper and leaves and were in real need of attention. Not nice at all. Finally, Wi-Fi was an extra cost and the phone signal not great. It would be nice to have a couple of megabytes of free data each day just to check the weather etc.

Kedvelték Great location for walks to Pen y Fan, Fan y big etc, Brecon the Usk and canal. You can access quiet lanes directly to the south of the site via a footbridge over the stream, which was lovely for a dip in hot weather. Owners are very friendly and make regular patrols of the site to check that all is well. Easy to drive to with the caravan - no narrow lanes. Site was very quiet every night by 11.00 despite being full and we always slept well. Excellent free Wi-Fi. Despite the niggles below, the site was very good value.

Nem kedvelték There aren’t enough loos to cope with a full site and myself and other campers were having to queue in the morning. It would probably be OK when the site is not full. Pitches are not numbered or well defined. We came back from a day out and a family had pitched a caravan, tent and car with roof tent on the pitch next to us - so close that we couldn’t open our window! We politely asked them if they could move the closest unit which thankfully they did, but it would be better if there was more organisation in my view. There is no grey or black waste point in the caravan field - the only place we could find was the camping field so it was a bit more of a trek than usual. The black waste disposal drain was neat but there was no hose available to rinse it down - just a tap a couple of meters away. The tap in the touring field is high off the ground and had no hose attached so do bring your own if you want to fill a large water container or aqua roll. The touring field would benefit from having the small central grass area free for kids to play, rather than having extra units and cars squeezed on. Sorry for all the minor gripes - we had a lovely stay but these are little things that could be improved.
