Kedvelték I loved the position of this site. Basic but price reflects this so really good value for money and can walk straight from site which is what stuck out for me when booking. Straight to Thorpe cloud or Tissington or the stepping stones at Dovedale. Took approx an hour one way with dogs in tow so a good route and avoids the super busy car park at such popular tourist spots and also allowed me to go later in the afternoon once the crowds had gone. Really quiet site at night time which was also nice and owners left us to do it. Will definitely be booking again as great value for money. The dog pub is also walking distance and fab outside seating area with good food. As a solo lady on her own I felt very safe on this site and pitched next to the sheep so it was lovely waking up to that view! 🐑

Kedvelték Really enjoyed such a peaceful weekend here. Lots of space to pitch up which I loved and could choose where to pitch which is also a bonus. Nice clean toilets on site and owner was really helpful and directed me to local places. Great location for walks in the area and close to Ashbourne for food and drinks.

Kedvelték We loved this and the cute little shop on site was amazing and such a fab surprise. Great text before arrival with lots of details and pointers this was brilliant! We stayed for tea in the pub and food was amazing. Site was clean and just a great stay for us as we were travelling and needed a stop in between so this suited us thank you again.

Kedvelték Wonderful setting which is probably the best we’ve stayed in in terms of views and walks literally on the doorstep. Adele was very accommodating also and the site was quiet with mostly friends and couples who take delight from scenery and walking. The grasses area is unlevel so levellers are recommended for vans and this worked well. We are definitely staying again as felt very much at peace here.
