Kedvelték Good location. Beaches, shops and restaurants nearby but it still felt quiet and peaceful. The toilet and shower block was really clean. The grass was very soft so it was easy to set up the tent. The owner introduced herself and was very friendly and helpful.

Kedvelték The site is very well located: it took us 30 minutes to reach Old Harry's Rocks/Swanage, 30 minutes to reach Durdle Door/Lulworth Cove and 45 minutes to get to Weymouth. You need to drive over a mile down a dirt road to reach the tent site but there are clear signs along the way so you won't get lost. The facilities blend in well with the surroundings. There are four individual toilet cubicles, four individual shower cubicles with space for getting undressed/dressed and urinals. There are also three sinks with mirrors for getting ready in the morning/at night; and three sinks to wash dishes. There are bins on site. The owners keep the facilities clean and check in with the campers every day. The campsite was very quiet and peaceful. Other campers were friendly and respectful. You can set up your tent wherever you want within the limits of the field. We would like to give a special thank you to the owner Jayne who let us borrow poles for our tent as we'd forgotten to bring ours (I know, silly mistake).

Nem kedvelték There is nowhere to charge electronic devices but I guess nowadays one can purchase solar power banks or else ahead of going camping. There is no playground area for children so some young people would sometimes play football in the middle of the field, almost hitting campers sat down eating and making it a bit stressful when driving around the site.

Kedvelték The campsite is off a main road (but not busy) and is very close to the beach - about 10 minute walk. The owner welcomed us straight away after we rang them and she was very nice. She later called us back to give us some information about the local area which was much appreciated. You can also drive to Mablethorpe and get there in 10-15 minutes. There are grocery stores, restaurants and attractions nearby so whether you want to eat ''in'' or eat out, the option is here. We visited the seal sanctuary and the campsite was perfectly located to allow this. As it's a big field with no light pollution, it was also the perfect spot to look at the stars.

Nem kedvelték We didn't dislike anything as such. The only thing to bear in mind and which is well indicated on the Pitchup website is that there is no toilet or shower facilities. You need to use construction site toilets. They were relatively clean throughout the stay. I thought the price was quite expensive for a night with only 2 people considering the absence of facilities. It's an absolute bargain for 4 people though.
