Thorpe Farm Centre

Kedvelték The centre was excellent with plenty to do for the kids. Farm, Maze, play area and tyre swings. The centre was very clean and tidy. The toilet/shower area was also very clean and a great facility with a lounge area and TV.

Nem kedvelték The only bad thing was the A66. This was within 10 meters of the tent pitch and has constant traffic noise. The toilet block was a little distance but only became an issue during the night.
A toilet/shower block and electric hook-ups on the top field, away from the road and the site would be perfect.

Nem kedvelték Grass tent pitches are located too close to A66 - very noisy all day and night. Due to this I would not consider returning unless pitches were relocated which is such a shame because everything else was spot on.

Grass pitches are very uneven and on a slope.
Would have given this 10/10 if it was not for the road noise.

Kedvelték A very lovely site, clean, quiet and well maintained. The site had a lot of amenities including washer and dryer. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. There was so much to do, the maise maze was our favourite. The kids loved the tyre swings and made a lot of friends.

Kedvelték We stayed here for 1 night en-route to Scotland, although other reviews say it was noisey due to the close proximity to the A66 it didn’t affect our stay and we had a very enjoyable stay. Great site and the shop is a fabulous bonus. Staff very friendly and helpful x

Kedvelték Stayed here with our grandchildren for 4 nights, ages 4 and 2. Beautiful setting, friendly staff, amazing shop and cafe. The soft play is great addition lovely and clean. Being able to interact and feed the animals and go through the Maize was fantastic and the kids loved it. The play park is great too.

Nem kedvelték I didn't realise how close it was to an incredibly busy road. Heard cars and wagons all night long. Should maybe have somewhere to call into to get directed to your pitch etc...

Kedvelték Were to start.. the staff were all lovely especially the young guy in shop. The restaurant was clean shop was clean and stocked . The toilets were spotless warm and inviting. Loved the antique store were we met Molly the dog. Shop worker was lovely she was great with my younger son who loves collecting old money. The garden centre had a great range of flowers at reasonable price. The farm animals were so cute you could walk up and see them at any time. They were very friendly. The pigs were great one rolled over to scratch his belly. The wee billy goats were so cute they all came running up to see us. We were placed on grass part next to the road. I had read the reviews before hand regarding the noise but it didn't bother us at all. There were wee rabbits and ducks everywhere just going about there own business. It was great to see. All in all my husband my nine year old and I loved this place and will certainly be back.

Nem kedvelték U have to buy electric card I got ten pounds on it I only used £1.85 I couldn't get a refund as I had to leave early and the shop doesn't open till nine. The barrier on way out needs a code and I lost it I had to find another camper awake to get code usually it's only inwards u need code.the restaurant bit dear especially for a cake and coffee
