Such a lovely day and we can thank two jays enough. we used a campfire they provided on site which meant sparks weren’t a concern during the hot weather, as our own was more open. water buckets dotted around the site also made this much safer.

Thank you for your positivity to our toilets and staff. This review is down to you not being able to bbq your sausages or have a firepit, you were verbally aggressive towards a member of staff due to the current restrictions in place! I do have to bring to your attention the heatwave we are currently facing. The day you arrived the fire service was dealing with field fires 3 miles away. I was following current guidelines and I do put the safety of others first. As you pointed out the grass has all dried up and would have acted as tinder to a naked flame. I'm really surprised you were so angry about it, when 3 miles up the road people were losing there homes, Norfolk fire had sent a warning not to have BBQ's at the moment.
The campsite is on a farm with lots of animals next to a busy road, I apologise you had to get out of your car to open the gate but again safety comes first and gates need to be kept closed just in case a dog or another animal gets out. This is small non-commercial campsite on our working farm. There is lots to do in the local area, perhaps this campsite is not for you.
