Nice even ground for tenting, although on trailers the toilets and showers were clean and worked well.

Loved the atmosphere and location. The animals were so friendly and gentle with my two toddlers. The bathrooms were above and beyond what we expected!! If we ever travel back to the area we will only be camping here. Definitely loyal customers of theirs!!

No shade except for one place 3pm onwards.

Which was why we booked it but in fact if you want to hire a kayak get ready to carry it and walk miles or have a car it will fit in!!!
Very noisy main road!

Nice level pitches in the campervan field. Very friendly and relaxed welcome. Showers, loos excellent. Good washing up sink. CDP was fine. Good mobile signal. Loved watching the horses from our pitch in the evening. Ten minute easy walk to the river where we spent a delightful afternoon canoeing on the most beautiful stretch of river. Close to village for pubs and local shop.

Some have mentioned road noise. True, there is a road next to the site. It doesn’t detract from the camping experience at all and is quiet at night and on the flip side it means access is easy.

The landscape was amazing!! Great staff, clean facilities (super impressed with the toilets with shower) and the kids loved the animals, we will be back for sure!

Lovely place to stay. The toilet and shower facilities were top tier, rented a kayak and a paddleboard both days we were there, launching into the river nearby.
Fire pit was an extra perk, as was seeing the myriad of alpacas and horses on site.
The owners were also very accommodating and helpful.
10/10 would recommend 🥂
