The facilities are cleaned 3 times per day on a Friday,Saturday and Sunday with both blocks being open from Friday evening until Sunday evening ( I agree the older ones could do with an upgrade but it does not help when some guests are not respectful of the facilities or other campers).

We stayed on an electric point which was great, flat and with easy access to water and not too far from bins and recycling. We loved being able to access the river for fishing and caught quite a few (mainly dace and perch). This is definitely a site where you need to bring your own fun as there are not any of the typical activities you find on-site such as a play area. This would be great for large groups as you could (at the time we went) have a field to yourself! It is also a great location to reach other local attractions. We went to Bodiam castle and the Tenterden steam railway.
