We caught over 20 wasps in a trap that we bought in the space of an hour. It was the same last year on the opposite side of the field. There also needs to be some sort of policing on noise and behaviour. We come here because it is open and you can camp spaced apart. A large group turned up over the weekend, they were up past 4am every night then their kids were up at 6.30. They had dogs off the lead that kept coming into our tent, there were also many people driving at ridiculous speeds across the site. It doesn’t feel as safe as it used to.
Thank you for your loyalty in choosing to stay with us especially over the busiest weekend of the year.
Had we been notified of the wasp infestation by yourselves or other campers we would have got the exterminator in to have dealt with this problem (they will always try to arrive the same day we notify them).
We do a patrol of the campsite at 10pm asking for music to be turned off and to be considerate of other guests, this along with the campsite rules including dogs must be kept on a lead at all times are given to everyone in writing when checking-in. We do not come out again after our 10pm check unless notified by using the mobile number printed on the front of everyone`s check-in cards.

The toilets were cleaned from 7am until 7pm and as such were very clean outside these hours, from 7pm until 7am the cleanliness was down to guests using them. There is a Brewers Fayre within walking distance and you do not have to use public roads to get to it.
On non-electric you choose where to stay after you have checked in and everyone is given a map, it is personal choice whether you stay near the toilets and showers or further away.
