The NEW facilities advertised on the web site were not in use, the facilities that were in use needed cleaning, the gentleman on reception needs lessons regarding customer service, the gentleman was not very helpful, it seemed to be too much trouble for him to get out of his chair and was very abrupt. The cost for 1 night stay considering the facilities is definitely not worth it at £33 per night, DISGUSTING!

We do however wish to clarify, we have two near identical modern shower/toilet block. During off peak season (now) we only open one of these blocks as the number of guests doesn't warrant having both sets open. With regard to grass, we have had extremely wet September with deluges, and therefore the ground conditions haven't enabled us to mow as frequently as we do. The facilities are cleaned every day however the weather and ground conditions during your stay can lead to the floors looking unclean as people walk in and out from the fields.

It has been advertised on Pitchup and The Hop Farm website that the Farm, Oast houses and museums are closed in order to avoid disappointment before booking to stay here.
We do have long stay guests who enjoy being here and this means we are able to stay open for anyone wanting to visit rather than having to close.
