There are country and river walks to enjoy especially if you have a canoe or paddle board which are also available to hire locally if booked in advance. There is a lot to do within a short drive including Leeds castle and Aqua Chimp (a 3 minute drive) which is a floating jungle rope course min age 6years.

N'a pas aimé : The shower and toilet blocks were vile. The newer block was only open for an hour or so each evening but only had 3 showers in it which were better than the brick block but still not great.
Signs everywhere saying to keep dogs on leads but it seemed we were the only ones listening to that.
Dog poo in a lot of the fields and smashed beer bottles on the floor around the washing up area that didn’t get cleaned up.
Nothing available for children.
Loads of shouting and loud music being played until very late from the static caravans that people seem to live there all year around.
The site is very rundown and definitely the worse I’ve stayed at.
I am sorry you did not enjoy your stay, which I believe may be due to an incident regarding broken bottles and an injury we were not notified of, however when the cleaner arrived at 0530 am this was dealt with and we got a second cleaner in at 10am to make sure everything was spotless.
We do remind guests dogs must be on a lead at all times and if we see dog walkers(there are public footpaths through the camp site) we also ask them to put their dogs on leads.
When booking we do not advertise as having any entertainment for either children or adults.
We have guests who stay here year round and the majority of them leave before 6am Monday to Friday to go to work. We come out at 10pm nightly to lock up and make sure there is no music being played, after this we rely on guests to call us on the mobile number printed on the front of their check-in cards if they are disturbed by any loud music or shouting.
Perhaps you will visit again to enjoy the country and river walks and bring some indoor and outdoor games for you and the family to enjoy together.
