Everyone is given a handout of campsite rules when they check-in which includes " Dogs must be on a lead at all times, please tidy up after them and they are not permitted in the toilet and shower blocks" there is also a notice on the outside of the toilet/shower doors saying "no dogs allowed inside". It would seem there are some guests that do not adhere to the campsite rules.

We are not able to stock any perishables due to sell by dates and there is very little demand. There is a petrol station with a co-op (5 minute drive or 25 minute walk along the river path). We sell a 1.8kg of ice for £3 or a 1kg bag of ice can be bought for £1.30 at the co-op.

There are speed limit signs and everyone checking in is given a hand out of the campsite rules.
Over the numerous years that the car boot has been here we have never experienced any security risk and the amount of people attending is more like a couple of hundred, not including guests on site.
There are several national trust properties in the area along with very large free play parks not too far away for days out.
EE seems to have good coverage here most of the time.
