We arrived just the before the awful storm and I thought we'd got away with it! Unfortunately by 5am the next morning 2 poles had snapped and I had to wake my son up to sleep in the car and salvage all our belongings. The owners were lovely and replaced the broken poles and helped me set my tent back up again. Holiday salvaged! Will stay again if we get the chance. Site is beautiful. Firepit is an absolute bonus.

We are surprised that you found your pitch not level as we allow customers to position themselves onto the pitch anyway that want to go. The high barrier is a security measure to stop unwanted guests! Were sorry that you found it annoying. The wardens caravan is not far away from the barrier and it is not a problem opening it for customers.
