A great place for our first outing in our new camper. Everything was great, very friendly camp site - loads of space. Everywhere was very clean and tidy. Showers and toilets very clean - showers nice and hot.

Dogs loved the field for walks.

Walked for an ice cream at the ice cream farm and not Tattenhall for a couple of pints.

Lovely site, well maintained and excellent value. Great size pitches, very level and so peaceful. Had a great 4 nights here, lovely walk through the fields to Tattenhall, ice cream factory quite close and a day out shopping in Chester.

A beautiful quiet spot with plenty of space between pitches. They have a large field adjacent to the site for dog walking. The showers / toilets are spotless. Very good value for money

Lovely welcome, explained where everything was and shown to our pitch.
Lots of choice of where to park our camper. We were non electric . Lovely site. Flat ground . Immaculate toilet and shower facilities. Lovely and quiet site. We will definitely be going back very soon with our bikes to explore the canal close by.

~Price point~
We didn’t expect a lot considering the price, it was just a stop over for us heading to the Lakes from Carmarthen.
We loved how wide the access roads were, the guy that met us at the gate was very friendly and told us exactly where to go and gave us a choice of pitches. Nice wide access from the main road. Seemed a lovely friendly family site. We left quite early 9am but that’s because like I said it was just a stop over for us.

~Shower Curtains-
Now as a long distance lorry driver unfortunately I’ve seen my fair share of public showers. These out weigh a lot of what I deal with on a weekly basis. They were very clean, extremely hot (of course adjustable). My only criticism for the whole site is the shower curtains. The tray are not big enough for someone to stand in without the curtain getting stuck to you. The only way to combat this is either install sliding glass doors or install longer trays. The longer trays isn’t really feasible in the space they have so it would have to be a sliding door in my personal opinion.
