We weren't there long enough!

Pitch allocated was tiny - we had to shoehorn the van in only to realise that we'd have to get it out again as it was too far to walk anywhere. We gave up and stayed by the loch.

Fantastic location, was able to fish and paddleboard from the site. Caught both Cod and Trout.

Perfect location loch side in the highlands. The sunsets over the loch were a highlight. Great location for Ben Nevis and all Fort William surrounding areas. Shower block always being cleaned.

Lots of loos without loo paper.

Loved every second of our stay, from the minute we drove in it had the 'WOW' factor. Great facilities and staff.
Perfect base for Ben Nevis.

Great space and location - it's big but divided into different areas so it doesn't feel it. Nice to walk along by the loch. Convenient for Fort William and nearby munroes. Easy / attractive drives to places such as Glenfinnan and Plockton. Limited contact with staff but they were lovely when I did speak with them. Easy after office hours arrival. Showers etc decent. Good wifi (when it was working - see below).

Wifi vanished in my area for the second bit of my trip (was OK elsewhere on site) - I unfortunately wasn't around during office hours after this to tell someone and it might have been easy to fix if I had. Really could have done with somewhere to refreeze icepacks and it'd be nice to have somewhere to sit and charge stuff if you don't have an electric hookup. Some off-site noise at night but pretty low and steady so didn't bother me particularly. None of this would stop me staying again, I mention it only so others can make informed decisions. Also, I hate those 'recommend to a friend' questions - I never recommend anything but an honest answer looks negative when that's not my intention.

Excellent facilities. Very clean and well appointed. All amenities were well sign posted and convenient.

Such a nice campsite, quiet and calm - this came as a surprise given that it's near a lumber yard-, with fabulous facilities. We have spotted dolphins ( or porpoises- not sure 🫣), potentially an otter and numerous birds on the beach and watched some amazing sunsets into the loch. The drying line and the picnic bench available in every tent area were greatly appreciated.

Location was great as it’s a short drive or walk into Fort William and the loch is very pretty. Toilet/shower/wash facilities were adequate. I found them clean, in contrast to other reviews on here.

The midges were dreadful on my pitch which was right next to some bushes, but I knew that would be a risk when visiting the highlands in midge season. The pitches weren’t always well marked as I was in a VW caddy and popped out for the day, leaving my pitch clear, only to come back and find someone in it! There was nobody around to help me sort it out. The pitch I had was uninspiring sitting by a wall next to the toilet block. Probably the worst looking pitch I’ve had on my travels. To make it worse, people seem able to turn up and pitch at any time. I had people arrive next to me at 11pm and proceed to slide their van door every minute for the next hour whilst unpacking and having a domestic. Tighter site rules would help mitigate against disturbance from late pitching.
