Lovely campsite liked that we were able to set up in our own desired area, either by the loch or within the woods or amongst others - and could have a look around to choose - this was midweek so was quieter and had the area to ourselves, the following night (weekend) become very busy with lots of neighbours but no issues - good facilities

The area we chose had very solid ground so took a bit of manipulation of the position of tent to be able to put tent pegs in as some areas were stone underground

Booked one night as a stop off on our way to Skye. The showers were fine but can’t comment re other facilities as we didn’t use them. The pitch for our motor home was good and it had access to Loch Linnhe beach which was good for our dog. The site was very tidy.

To be fair we prefer wilder camping spots but booked this for convenience. Absolutely nothing wrong with it it’s just it has a holiday camp vibe with lots of static vans which isn’t our thing.

We arrived late, found at reception a good system to tell us where to pitchup. We could have found staff if wanted but didnt need to.
Came and went each day in our campervan
left at end with no need for formal checkout.

This was a peaceful well run site. I had a great view of the lock from my pitch. There was a great burger van on site and it is only a short drive to Corpach where there is a CO-OP.Toilet and showers were claen and tidy and you can even have a bath. Ok dog walks along bthe beach which leads to a small woodland trail.

It was well looked after. We could choose where we want to pitch our tent. Very family friendly. Staff was nice and friendly.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay regardless of the harsh weather. The facilities were really great and clean. We will be back.

Lovely wee hidden campsite.

De plek was prachtig met uitzicht op ben nevis en ruimte voor de tent, picnictafel en de hond aan een lange lijn. Het water op 1 min lopen; genoten. Veel mooie wandelingen en sights binnen rijafstand voor dagtrips.

Af en toe een Koude/ lauwe douche.
De punten waar je telefoons/powerbank kunt laden zijn bij de receptie, dus niet beschikbaar na sluitingstijd.
Jammer dat de kabelbaan stuk was voor de kids.
Electrische Laadpunten zijn in fort william en vraagt wat planning, omdat het er druk is en laden trager gaat dan in NL.

The view

The set up of the campsite felt like it was almost entirely gravel/tarmac for caravans and static homes, with tents squeezed into the left over grass areas, there’s is only really one good spot with an open view of the Loch but the ground is unlevel and the stones in the ground make it hard to peg a tent down, the rest of the pitches are under the cover of trees which isnt to my personal liking. But I think the worst part were the toilet/shower blocks, I took one shower to which the bottom of the shower filled up to my ankles due to the drain being clogged (I’m assuming) with grime then floating in the water which made me feel sick.
