Our new ladies shower block, which includes wet rooms, is about to open in time for the school holidays. We're sorry it wasn't quite open when you stayed but we hope you'll enjoy it on your next visit.

Our welcome email is designed to give guests the convenience of being able to pitch up and know where everything is without having to queue at reception. Our friendly wardens like to welcome guests personally on their walk rounds each evening.

Thank you for letting us know the footpath needed cutting back again, this has now been attended to. Details of other local walks are also available on the campsite noticeboard. Our personal favourite is Stockbridge Down, less than 2 miles drive from the campsite with free National Trust parking, a beautiful chalk downland with far-reaching views, a variety of wildlife and archaeological features.

Our walk rounds are intended as a friendly check-in to ensure guests feel welcome and have everything they need. Our wardens are really lovely and not at all militant, we receive lots of positive feedback about how friendly and helpful they are.

The limited access to the new amenities during your stay was due to some final preparations before they open full time for the school holidays. Its personal preference, but many of our guests favour the smaller block that was open during your stay as it has private bathrooms and electric showers. We're currently investing in improvements to ensure everyone visiting us has the best possible experience.

Thank you for your review. The motorhome service point is in the ground near the main grey waste point. We would have been happy to help you locate it. Our wardens work tirelessly keeping the facilities spotless so we're sorry to hear your comments. Our pitches are spacious, even more so during the week when we're quieter, but the campsite was full with lots of families enjoying the heatwave.There was a wonderful atmosphere onsite, but we understand it might not have been what you were looking for and wish you all the best.

It's a little unfair to review somewhere you didn't stay. There are thousands of trees and hedge plants surround the camping fields, supporting a wide range of wildlife. They don't cast a huge amount of shade when the sun is at its highest point in the summer, but this isn't usually an issue as we're not often treated to three heatwaves in a row!

The campsite is situated around a traditional Hampshire farmstead, complete with original threshing barn and farm buildings. There hasn't been a working farm here for many years, instead Folly Farm is a place for wildlife, and families and friends to enjoy time together in nature. We're sorry you didn't stay long enough to appreciate this.

Although we have hundreds of mature trees bordering the camping fields, they don't cast much shade into the camping fields when the sun is at its highest so its definitely worth bringing a gazebo or awning during a heatwave.
