Distance to toilets

The camp itself was lovely, beautifully kept with good facilities. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely use Folly Farm again.

Lovely well maintained flat pitches, nice park for the children. The toilets were clean enough with a block of new looking toilet cubicles and an older block with a mixture of toilets and showers on their own and together. Didn’t see a site person as we were assigned a pitch number via email and left to our own devices but that’s perfect for us - we’ve found on some sites the owners are lovely but over friendly and keep setting the dogs off when they keep popping by! Dog field wasn’t huge but a great addition to let the dogs let off some steam and go to the toilet, with a poo bin provided. At first we wondered why we were all pitched together when there were lots of spaces free, but it looks like they were rotating the fields to let the pitches recover. The games field again isn’t huge and we tended not to use it as it’s right at the front away from the pitches, but had a couple of football and a badminton net provided. Didn’t use the wifi as we try to avoid our devices when camping.

We don’t tend to revisit the same sites, but we would go back as it’s a good base to explore a lovely part of the country.

Just a sign on the children’s park gate would be fab reminding parents of the times the children can be in there - every morning we were woken early to kids playing in the park which is fine as we’re early risers anyway, but frustrating for our daughter as we wouldn’t let her go and join them until 9am!

Was right next to the park. The kids loved it. Well kept are. Really enjoyed it.

Everything was fine

The play area was perfect for my young grandson, he loved it! The pitches were well kept and a reasonable size with a drinking water tap at the entrance to each field. The toilet and shower block being unisex was easy for me to supervise my young grandchild but it was rather a long way from our pitch.

It was very noisy in the evening but I did expect this with it being the school holidays and it was mainly families enjoying themselves!

Great little site. Facilities are perfectly adequate. Pitches are all grass but are well kept. Weather was dry when we stayed so no problems for our motorhome on the grass.

Only a minor comment but I left a coffee cup on the grass. When I remembered it half an hour later it was infested with ants! Having said that, there were no signs anywhere else.

Great place, well organised, specious, clean facilities and great support for owners. Perfect place to stay with children.

I would add bench or two by the showers for waiting parents :)

The kids had fun in the park, facilities were close enough.

Ideal campsite for families - lovely and clean, well laid out, with a great playground, dog field and badminton/football field.
Kids enjoyed bug hunting, kicking a ball around and the playground was a huge hit!
Lovely to hear owls overnight, and see all the bird and bug life around.

Toilet and shower block is a bit of a walk potentially from where you’ll be camping - just something to consider if you often need a nighttime wee!
Toilet block also had quite a muddy wet floor at times - despite being regularly cleaned to keep on top of it.
