Stayed in a pod , pod was fine.
Loved the live music.
The warden was very helpful.

The site was very busy and felt cramped in.
The pod could do with a better quality sofa bed .offered little support.

Great atmosphere, friendly staff, very clean and tidy.
Facilities were really good and provided everything we needed for our stay.
The booking process was seamless.

The distance to the showers are a little bit further than we are used to from the pitch we had.
Small issues probably more our old knees 🤣

Lovely location, great pitches - very spacious, cute shop and cafe with live music on the Saturday, lots of hot water on tap.

Not the sites fault but we were next to a family playing loud music late into the night. There were lots of dogs - some pitches seemed to have about 10 so perhaps they could do with an enforced limit as they were all setting each other off. Toilets could have been kept a little cleaner.

The location, the village is within walking distance and has some lovely pubs and a train station to go exploring.

When we first arrived we were directed to a hard standing pitch on a slope, we had booked a grass pitch so asked to be moved. Thankfully we did get moved to a more level grass pitch.

Most of the time there was no hot water for washing up. We gave up with the outside sinks and chose to que for the sink in the kitchen, at least you could use the kettle in there for hot water.

Its a very noisy site both day and night. Quiet time was not enforced. Not a site to chose if you want to relax

The site is large and laid out well with plenty of space per pitch. The facilities are also well distributed throughout the site with toilets, showers and washing up areas in multiple areas over the site.
Park was a great addition for the children who loved the climbing trees/rope and swing.
We were travelling as a group and were accommodated next to each other without hassle. The staff are on hand should you need them.
We sadly didn’t have time to use it but the cafe on site is also a convenient extra!

Toilets did get a bit messy as only cleaned once per day and it was busy over the bank holiday weekend. But spotless the rest of the time and the showers were very clean!
Also the first door on the right of the block in the top field was sticking and a bit scary for kids who got stuck in the cubicle.

There could be more rubbish bins around the campsite - there wasn't even one close to the sinks, so people did not know what to do with the waste in the drains after washing dishes

Good flat pitch, good clean bathrooms and indoor kitchen with microwaves, toaster and sink. Quiet and leafy site, lovely pitch with blossom trees around. Handy stand pipes and well kept grounds and paths. Very fine resident cats who were quite sociable. Owner was helpful and made sure I had everything I needed. Really appreciated the well equipped accessible bathroom as I have disabilities.

No loo paper in toilets was an ongoing nuisance, had to make sure I had some in every pocket. Pitch was a bit small for a family-sized one (glad I ended up with a bigger pitch as only ones left and I have a large tent to help with disabled access), had trouble parking the car. Firewood for sale was overpriced and some of it was unsuitable to use. Ok for outdoor use (which to be fair is what it is meant for) but don't use for a tent stove as some is unseasoned and not safe for use in a stove as tarry deposits could end up setting flue alight. Found this skimping irritating and a nuisance. In such a wealthy area and on a decent campsite you don't expect such penny pinching.
