Cosy space for a few days exploration

Not a dislike, but a suggestion.
a microwave would be useful as the pub & pizza place were both closed on one of my nights

Everything. 2nd time back, this time with the other half and the dogs. Lovely campsite, peaceful location, very clean toilet and shower with nice washing up area with a small fridge. The owner, Cecilia, is awesome and her pizzas that she sells Thursday through Sunday are restaurant quality. The pub opposite the site is great, service and food is up there with the best you'll find.
Plenty of walks direct from the site so makes the perfect base to explore.
We booked for 4 nights but as soon as we got there booked an extra night as my partner loved it so much.
The field only takes 6 tent pitches but could quite easily take twice that so no matter how big your tent is, or how busy the site is, you'll have loads of space.
Perfect campsite in my opinion.

Nice location, nice pizza, friendly host.

Very dark cottage with over powering smell (toilet cleaner?) which triggered my husbands asthma as it was so strong. Unfortunately we couldn't open any of the tiny windows due to swarming midges outside. The midges were really bad outside so we ended up having to sit in our car to eat the pizza as the smell was too strong inside. Probably be great when it's not Midge season and would then represent good value after a day in the dales. Also there was a loud noise which kept up awake which we eventually worked out was the fridge which we unplugged in the middle of night then had blissful silence! Very close to road.

Bridge House served as our base for a quick one-night stay, and it suited our needs perfectly. Don't expect luxury amenities; the accommodation is simple and no-frills. However, what it offers is a spotlessly clean room, a comfortable bed, and a very warm welcome.

Its main selling point is undoubtedly the setting. The property is located in a small and wonderfully picturesque North Yorkshire village, complete with a fantastic local pub and beautiful surrounding scenery. For anyone needing a convenient and affordable place to break up a journey or explore the area for a day or two, Bridge House is an excellent option. We'd happily return.
