Location, cleanliness, perfect for a cosy quiet weekend

Bridge House served as our base for a quick one-night stay, and it suited our needs perfectly. Don't expect luxury amenities; the accommodation is simple and no-frills. However, what it offers is a spotlessly clean room, a comfortable bed, and a very warm welcome.

Its main selling point is undoubtedly the setting. The property is located in a small and wonderfully picturesque North Yorkshire village, complete with a fantastic local pub and beautiful surrounding scenery. For anyone needing a convenient and affordable place to break up a journey or explore the area for a day or two, Bridge House is an excellent option. We'd happily return.

Brilliant little campsite, all the facilities were spotlessly clean and we very much appreciated there being a small fridge so we could store some milk for a morning cuppa.
We'd also highly recommend ordering a pizza, they were delicious, perfect after a day on the tops.

Great little campsite, only 6 pitches onsite.

A great base to explore Wharfedale and the surrounding areas.

Onsite pizzas are 👌 as is the local pub.

Facilities well kept and pitches are well spaced.

Just for awareness, there is only one toilet onsite, which if the site was full of 4 person pitches, you might find yourself waiting in a line at peak times.

Also, be aware access is under a low narrow arch.
