Being able to pick your own pitch and being surrounded by beautiful views made this trip worth sticking around for.

The facilities were extremely limited and basic with half of the campsite being provided with portaloos with no toilet paper or water and not maintained.
The men's toilets became blocked and unavailable resulting in them using the womens toilets which then left another huge queue.
There are only 4 showers and there was approximately 300 people staying at the site over the weekend, while the showers cost £1 for 4 minutes which is a shame when youre paying £25 a night for otherwise terrible facilities.
Washing up facilities are quite possibly the worst ive ever seen, with dribbling cold water and blocked drains, resulting in us having to carry pans of warm water from the toilet sinks to wash our pots.
The hosts were rude, perhaps due to the stress they're now under with trying to run so many different elements of the farm.
I overheard one of the owners introducing one of the campers to the campsite via the farm shop, ordering her not to take apart the walls or set fire to the fences rather than a kind welcoming introduction to the farm as you would expect upon arrival.
Such a shame as we stayed a few years ago and we did not feel this way about the campsite then

Just what we wanted- good views, friendly staff, fire pits to hire, lovely shop on site, clean toilets and showers, wash area for your pots and drinking water available. Great for a weekend away to chill with your mates. Breakfast was nice at the cafe. Showers are a constant perfect temp too.

Yes the toilets are busy at 8am but only the women’s so just avoid the rush hour as for the showers, they are busy between 8am and 11am so again easy to work round.

Nice site with great shop and cafe.

Poorly maintained and dated onsite facilities, no hot water for washing up and I'm told even in the paid for showers while we were there. Broken light fittings in public areas representing a hazard. Not what you would expect given the price.

Has great toilets but needs to be more for the size of the campsite as there were queues and ran out of toilet roll/needed cleaning more frequently.

Great facilities, with the luxury of a cafe, bar and shop, priced with a fair premium.
Friendly staff.
Fire pit hire was reasonable and convenient, with wood for sale also.
Excellent location to access Dales, Monsal Trail, Cheedale stepping stones, Tideswell etc.
Brilliant surrounding views.

Mens toilets were clean but tired.
Think more showers would help, one was out of order leaving just 3.
Couldn’t get a pint on the Saturday without paying to go into spice girls gig.
Track to campsite unsuitable for smaller cars, real risk of bottoming out.

Beautiful view, lots of space, clean sanitary. Very friendly staff also lovely coffeeshop. Dog- friendly
