Really friendly had everything close by great looking cafe and lovely cake !
Will definitely go again the fire pit looks like a must

Staff and facilities are outstanding. The staff are very helpful. The showers and toilets are kept clean and are a god send after a hard days trek. The enclosed dish washing point was very useful.

If your coming in April time be aware the ground, as it does get muddy quick. Seen a couple of vans being pulled out by the tractor.

Staff were very friendly. Clean toilets and lovely hot showers. Great Campsite, would come again.

Short walk to the beautiful pub on the river.

Grass was too muddy to park our camper van and we had to be pulled out.
Option was to stay in the car park which we did but didn’t feel we could set up properly.
Booked for two nights only stayed one.

The cafe and farm shop was great. Sadly had to pack up early due to the weather.

The facilities were good and clean, the field we camped on had some very good views of the surrounding area. The staff in the cafe were friendly and gave us info about the local area. We stayed 1 night and due to the poor weather we ate breakfast at the cafe and the food was good

I disliked having to pay for the shower as I'd never had to before, however it was explained that it was due to previous guests misuse so no real problem

The cafe was excellent, served great food and had a little farm shop with everything you may need on your stay. The area was fantastic, very scenic views of the landscape. Night time entertainment was amazing also, really made the stay a good one with a live band which provided a good atmosphere within the barn.

The path which looped around the field essentially was not formed. It was very muddy and had wooden sleepers in parts to assist with driving around to find a pitch. Every single vehicle got stuck on our stay. There was a tractor on hand to help pull out and luckily some great people which pushed my vehicle out on 2 occasions. The male toilets was okay but the shower facilities was not very appealing so we decided to skip for the night.

The views are amazing and you get a good view of the sunset, we were able to walk to the Monsal trails from the campsite and the cafe is excellent

The showers worked extremely intermittently. We had to go down to the shop everyday to ask if they could be fixed, there were no staff being proactive and checking if they were working, the hot water in the toilets was intermittent and the toilets regularly blocked. Although there were two skips for rubbish which were emptied, the bin by the washing up area was not emptied the entire weekend we were there.
