Well run campsite in a scenic location. Good clean facilities, no more than we needed, toilet block, showers, washing up facilities, rubbish disposal etc. Just right for us. Large field for camping so plenty of room even at high season.

Thought it was a little expensive compared to other campsites we've stayed at (£25.00 a night for a 3.0m x 3.0m tent plot including car) so I thought the £1.00 charge for the showers should have been included.

Friendly staff, plenty of space to pitch up, great facilities and walks right near by. Perfect - we would stay again!

Stayed here many times and the hosts Dave, Charlotte and the team never fail to deliver. This is a brilliant campsite with spectacular views, walking distance to the local village for pubs and shops. Highly recommend this site.

Toilets were clean but in need of modernisation.

Not a dislike but an observation.
The gents toilets didnt fill up quick enough and sometimes didnt flush. Ladies was fine only the mens.
£1 for 4 minutes doesnt seem long for the showers but they was very good.

The farm shop and the barn in the evening was great. They had live music on and a selection of good beers including their own farm beer. Everyone was really helpful and friendly. There was plenty of space to pitch up and you weren’t sandwiched in. The showers were also pretty good for a campsite!

The only improvement would be to add on the website the accessibility for motorcycles. The entrance and hill up onto the field was very steep and full of gravel/sand. A motorcyclists worst nightmare, so maybe somewhere listing this, as it’s listed as motorcycle friendly. The toilets could do with being maintained more often, these were quite unclean and in the morning had no toilet roll at all.

The onsite bar and singer on the Saturday night. We have the burgers for tea one night which were really lovely. Check in was easy and the lady checking us (the owner I think) was very helpful.

You pitch up where you want so make sure to get there early to get yourself a good pitch.

Site is well managed. Good cafe offering breakfast and decent coffee. Toilets and showers good standard. Site is close to Peak District walks and sights. Considerate campers. Can light fires in fire baskets.
