A aimé Toilets, washing and washing up areas kept spotless, very quiet site, Lin met us on arrival and was friendly and welcoming. She suggested we try a walk which was not quite 6 miles, starting from the Inn on the Green, taking in The Bridges(aka The Horseshoes) and my favourite The Crown, worth the effort but wear sturdy shoes.

N'a pas aimé Nothing really, just it was extremely quiet, so you almost felt the need to whisper, we have a camper and you sort of hoped you could shut the doors more quietly 🤔 Currently there are roadworks in the area which are a bit unpredictable, not the site’s fault but it did delay us getting there!

A aimé The owners! New owners and the lady on Reception were brilliant, my daughter got a wasp sting and they sent to town to get her some Waspeze, then didn’t charge us! When we arrived there was plenty of space, would have pitched further away from the play area, as we had a 3 year old with us and the kids did play lateish! That was our fault not the sites! The site itself is flat, grass well maintained, electrics etc worked but will need upgrading as time goes on. There was a new portable toilet block, spotlessly clean and well stocked with all you need! The older main block although very clean is a bit tired and as the site filled up for the bank holiday might struggle. Showers were token controlled. Not much to do, but if you want a basic campsite, this is for you, Pub with take away 12 mins walk, shop 1.5 miles along a lane or about 2 miles along the river! Nice walk if you are not pushing a buggy there is also a village shop with a post office! Kids all seemed to get on and play out all day around a tree swing, hanging from a lovely pear tree!

N'a pas aimé There is an old swing frame in need of a bit of TLC, would hate to see a child hurt!

Réponse du gestionnaire : Thank you so much for your kind review. We have now removed the swing frame because due to recent weathers and the site being closed for some time, it is not in the condition we would want it to be and our guests safety is paramount. Thank you again!
