A aimé Excellent site with the best shower block I have ever had. Each shower room has a loo which is great no running out when your bladder decides it wants to go after you've stripped. Plenty of hot water via a mixer tap. NO Tokens or button to keep pressing. The WIFI was excellent we managed to run our firestick on it. The ladies toilet block is older but served the purpose. Only downside was the lights needed a few more minutes on the timer I was left in the dark twice. The sensor is near the entrance to had to leave to switch back on. Water and electricity was close to our pitch which was well kept. Everyone was friendly and we chatted to a few people. Clean site, toilets and shower were spotless. Can not fault them.

A aimé We stayed for 4 nights in August. When you are arriving follow brown signs for Beechwood Grange and not SAT NAV, they are down the same little side lane off the roundabout. The campsite is clean and quiet. There is a lot of space between pitches. In the ladies there were 4 shower rooms, each with loo, shower and toilet. The water was alway warm, no issues with that. There is a disabled wash room. It's larger but the only adaptation is a hand bar next to the loo. The shower cubicle is identical to the ones in the ladies. This means there is a step to get in with no seat or hand bars. There is a laundry room with 1 washer and 1 drier. Currently (August 21), it cost £5/load (£2 for the washer and £3 for 1 hours drying). A neighbour commented I was luck to get a slot and that on the night before there was a queue past midnight. I walked up popped a few bits in with no issue. There is a children's play area. This was popular with the children. We didn't use it as at +13yr my children are too cool for that now! We were here to visit the city and each day we popped in on a park and ride bus. These are about 5min drive away. The cost was £5.50 for a all day family pass. Not sure but think this meant we could hop on and off as we wanted. We were staying late one night to do this you need to use the Rawcliffe bar park and ride as this service operates till 10.30pm. Monks Cross" last bus is 8.30pm.

N'a pas aimé The hardstanding stones. Some are okay but it looks like old bricks and rubble were tipped on top. It's hard underfoot and I twisted my ankle slightly on a large piece of brick.
