A aimé Superb pub site. Ideally located for walks in the surrounding countryside and bike rides. Tewkesbury Abbey is 5 miles away by bike and gives access to great cycling around Bredon Hill. The pitches are a good size. The ablutions are first class and suitable for all year use. Each of the 5 toilet and shower rooms has a mop and bucket, so campers can clean up if the “talcum powder monster” has paid a visit and deal with any splashes and footprints- brilliant idea! The Hunter’s Inn has very friendly, attentive and help staff. Lunches and evening meals are excellent. Top tip: Book your table in advance.

A aimé Small, peaceful campsite with basic facilities and plenty of hot water! Perfect for a getaway to explore along the Severn. Rural setting. Lots of wildlife and birds can be seen around Arlingham. Quiet roads. Local walks. Close to a superb pub.

A aimé Warm welcome. Helpful staff. Excellent washing up and laundry room. Clean modern toilets and showers. Flat campsite with some clearly demarcated pitches. Fire pits for hire. An indoor area for games and a sheltered area for cooking on gas stoves if the weather is wet. Convenient for the Nature Reserves of the Suffolk Coast. The Friday night Barbecue was good quality and good value. It saved cooking or driving off site to find a meal after a long journey.

A aimé Easy to book and check in. Good location to explore the Suffolk coast by car. Little road noise. Many nature reserves in the area.

A aimé Friendly and helpful staff. Well stocked shop. Great ablutions and washing up areas. Easy to use recycling. Interesting and useful information signs. Close to Minsmere, Dunwich Heath and other great spots for wildlife watching and walking.

A aimé Nice hedged pitches with their own water tap close to the reception. There are also touring pitches available close to the swimming pool and small lake in the centre of the site. Easy access to towpath walking along the Somme. You feel that you are off the beaten track and need to a bit more self sufficient than other sites. This helps make it a peaceful site. The site has a clean unisex ablution block by the reception with push button showers. It may have the facilities of a 4 star site as shown at the gate, but these are rather dated and feels rather more of a budget site. That said, it is a great location for a quiet getaway and exploration of the region. Close to 1918 Australian memorials. Good scenery close by. Easy drive to 1916 battle sites. Close to Amiens and Peronne. The Baie de Somme is an easy day trip away and well worth a visit. Shops, restaurants and bakery are available in Corbie about 7 Km away. We hope to return soon.
