A aimé Good location, with good footpaths to walk into Ainsdale. Bus stop near by to go into Southport, Liverpool or Crosby. The site was well maintained.

A aimé Friendleness of the owners. It was their first day of opening, however they were very welcoming. The facilities of 2 toilets and one shower are basic but adequate. The location of the pitches offers lovely views across the field.

A aimé During our visit it was a quiet time of the season, however there was quite a few other visitors on the site. The pitches are of a generous size so certainly not packed in. The shower block is good but didn't appear to have any servicing undertaken during our 2 night stay, apart from this, nice hot showers with loads of room. There is building work being undertaken on the site but being a weekend the work was suspended. Nice location good for a 2 hour walk with a nice drink in the adjoining restaurant/bar at the end.

A aimé Good location with easy access to the canals where there are great walks to be found. The pitches are very spacious. Shower and toilet facilities are very clean, but a short walk across the car park.

A aimé Lovely spacious site. We were situated among the residential caravans, which we found very pleasant and was made to feel very welcome. The site grounds are very well maintained. There was only 2 showers within our vicinity, which didn't create any problems. But, did find it strange they were closed according to the sign between 08.00 -10.00 for cleaning, this time being when most people would wont to use them. However, I walked up there about 08.30 each day and didn't have a problem. Friendly staff at check in and the warden who lived on site came and introduced himself. Nice pleasant walk into the local town of Croston, took about 30mins. Lots of pubs to choose from to rehydrate. All in all a pleasant quiet site.

A aimé Spacious camp site, each pitch clearly defined with plenty of room. The shower and toilet facilities appeared to have been recently renovated, so nice area to shower. They were cleaned each morning. We took a walk into nearby Lytham which at a leisurely pace took about 25 minutes, nice town to walk around with plenty of places to eat and drink. On arrival at the campsite we were given an arrival info pack which was useful for the local area. Would happily stay here again.
