A aimé The stunning location, quietness and the laid back booking system. The facilities were all clean and well managed, so good to have the fridges/ freezers and washing machine if needed. There is a footpath that takes you up onto the moors only a few yards from the entrance.

N'a pas aimé Nothing! I’d suggest a less slippery floor or some mats in the shower block, and a shower curtain to come across the shower doors, preventing towels/clothing getting wet.

A aimé Greeting, facilities, cleanliness, vibe. We have been here for 4 times now and our children love it. Would recommend!!

N'a pas aimé Being told we could have a certain shady spot by the river but upon arrival it was taken by a friend of theirs/ someone working there. Bit disappointing and seems that all the nicer pitches are taken up this way.

We did our best to accommodate your request “Please can we mark out the pitch next to the river that is closest to the play area & yurt please and we will be a group but booking separately. Many thanks, ” by pitching the bell tent next to the river so that you could all pitch close together. It wasn’t clear that you actually wanted to be right in the corner, and that situation had already been occupied. We have a policy not to reserve particular places as we prefer our guests to have choice over where they pitch when they arrive.

A aimé Everything! We were greeted with a warm, friendly and welcoming reception and given clear and helpful instructions on where to pitch & the site. Owners were caring but also not too overbearing & relaxed, which is just what you need when camping. Site itself is just perfect, so well kept and all the facilities are clean & work really well. No noise late into the night whatsoever and the kids loved the playground and being able to make friends! Thank you for having us, we plan to return soon! We will be returning!

We try to give information when you first arrive to help you choose the best spot for you and you chose a great pitch with trees around and not too far from the facilities. A aimé The facilities were incredible, have sent pictures to friends looking to set up the same sort of venture. Friendly welcome and the site is clearly maintained to a very high standard. The owners were helpful and brought fresh ice blocks every morning, great in the heat! Love the natural meadows and the fact is wasn’t overcrowded. Would recommend to family and friends and will definitely return in the future!

N'a pas aimé Had to park on the outside, which would have been fine if I was on my own. However, it meant having to retire at night when my little one got tired, therefore couldn’t enjoy any adult in the evenings. I would bring a tent next time.

A aimé What a location! Really is out in the sticks and just a beautiful setting away from it all. The family were out when we arrived but I knew this from communication, so I just picked a spot to camp which was nice to have such a choice. On meeting them they were so welcoming, generous & friendly, we will definitely be back in the future. Loved the fact they were so relaxed. We visited the RSPB Gwenffrwd-dinas nature reserve & Dam, not too far from the campsite, would highly recommend. Just love Carmarthenshire ❤️

N'a pas aimé Farm dogs did bark a lot (but it’s a working farm, so to be expected.) No phone signal which I didn’t mind but just to make people aware- come prepared! The track in & out is off road I’d say, very glad to be in a vehicle that could manage easily, however people were arriving in cars so it is doable. Would have preferred compost toilets but it’s still a newish venture for the family and we are excited to come and stay again!
