We absolutely loved this small site. It was completely secure, meaning our small toddlers could roam freely without us worrying about where they were.

Although basic, all facilities were very clean and well presented.

We would definitely go back!

Very nice owners, met some good people as well that helped putting the tent up, stayed 2 nights and wish it could have been longer, kids really enjoyed themselves and I would return very soon. Loved it!

The kids absolutely loved it and didn't want to go home, they fed the animals and platted the pony's main. The owners were totally brilliant and an absolute pleasure to have met, would recommend to anyone especially family's and will certainly be going back.

Peaceful, friendly, good sized pitches. Lovely owners couldn't do enough for us. Made everyone feel really welcome. The kids on the site had a great time feeding the animals and playing on the toys supplied.
There is a fenced off field at the end of the field, good for letting the dogs off. This is also a play field for kids has football nets etc. Toilets and shower were kept really clean. Also has a little shop for essentials. One of the neighbours builds bird houses you can purchase. Hand made and very reasonable.

The only things I disliked was that we were pitched right next to a large pile of toys, bikes and ride in cars supplied for the kids. we were also in front of the water tap so every couple of minutes someone was swapping toys or getting water. Not a massive problem it just kept disturbing the dogs.
I would definitely go again just on a different pitch.
There is only one shower and two toilets one of which is in the shower, also only one washing sink that's next to the washing up sink so can be a bit of a wait for facilities.

Colin & Tracy were the perfect hosts. They were always around making sure all guests were happy. My 2 girls (8 & 10) loved feeding the animals and playing with their dog, Pip.
The site is very secure so I felt safe leaving the kids to play.
The showers and toilets were always kept clean.
Very close to the Ice Cream Farm, which is brilliant for young kids.

Couldn’t recommend this campsite enough, facilities were spotless, super small and easy to keep an eye on the kids, lots of toys for them to play with and the owners let the kids feed the animals and groom the horses. They even came round with rocket lollies for the kids on a scorching day. Such a lovely couple , can’t wait to go back again next year.

There is nothing to dislike about swallow farm!

The couple that run the farm are really nice and let the kids feed the farm animals, which they loved. They were really welcoming and we had a little chat from time to time.

There's a little shop with some essentials which was good and the facilities are clean and have everything you need. There is a single unisex toilet and a shower room which also has a toilet. For a small site, which this is, it is plenty.

They have a little field right next to the site, which is completely fenced off, so the kids can run around and play. There was also a football net up when we went, which my boys loved. The whole site is safe for the kids to run around though, as it is gated in.

Locally, there are some small shops nearby and a takeaway that does delivery of pizzas and chippy stuff. There are also loads of attractions. The Ice Cream farm is great and is only 5 mins drive away, then there are castles, the zoo, Delamere forest and other things available.

We had a really great stay and would definitely come back.

This could also be a positive too! But once you've set up, you leave your car at the front of the site and not next to your pitch. This is just because of the size of the site I think and because there isn't a path through the site, it's just a field, so I guess cars on and off all the time would also ruin the grass.

Eigenlijk niks, misschien de wc bril die regelmatig vies was door de kleine kinderen, maar er staat desinfectans naast dus zo weer schoon te maken.

The campsite was fantastic! Our two children could run around safely, and loved feeding the animals. Colin and Tracy were friendly and helpful, and loved encouraging the children to get involved with the animals. Fire pits allowed, our favourite campsite so far…
Excellent location, about 20 mins to Chester Zoo, BeWILDerwood, Beeston Castle and 10 mins to the Ice-Cream farm.

One shower with toilet, one separate toilet, a washing up sink and one handwash sink means it can get a little busy, so be prepared to be flexible about washing/showering time!

First time visiting Swallow Farm, and it wont be our last. Lovely cosy camping pitch, about 6 pitches with a great area for the kids to play in the middle. Great flat grassed area, well kept grounds. Owners Colin and Tracey are fab, so attentive, friendly and welcoming. They look after the grounds well, and are on hand to help in any way they can. Teens loved the animals: chickens, alpacas, lambs, sheep, horse, pig, goats and baby goats. They were encouraged by owners to feed and wash down the animals (under owners watch), and Colin and Tracey gave the kids loads of interesting info about all the animals. Really nice break away from home, providing a great family atmosphere. Visited locally the I've Cream Farm and Crocky Trail which were really close and great days out. Will definitely pay another visit soon.
