Great location. £12 stay for clean facilities and lovely pitches. As we were non-electric we were able to choose where to camp. Pub onsite was great, yet no noise on campsite despite it being a Saturday evening.

There's a nice vibe around the campsite with loads of responsible dog owners with lovely dogs. Had a lovely time at the pub having a few drinks and some pudding, the carvery looked lush as well. So friendly in the pub with the waitress's fussing over our dog, one especially who was so sweet, our reminded her of hers. Would definitely go back here if in the area again.

There was nothing to dislike, the facilities were great, it is really friendly.

Toilet and shower block out of the 1960s- 1 shower out of 3 out of order, 1 toilet out of 2 out of order, none of it cleaned daily. Need to be made of strong stuff to use these!! Last years leaves banked up in washing up shed.

Pub serves great food at reasonable prices. Portions are VERY generous. Very quite location in peaceful countryside

The pitches are all sloped to varying degrees. Toilet and shower facilities are very aged and basic, although mostly clean most of the time. The toilets nearest he pitches are very basic and out dated and have a few unisex showers which we chose not to use. the other toilets a short walk further were not much better and the shower cubicles are very low quality. Disappointing. No wifi

Always a good place to stay, and even better now with new showers. Friendly and helpful staff and the price is hard to beat. We’ve stayed here for short breaks several times now. There’s lots to do and see including Steam Railway, National Trust sites and the wonderful scenery of Exmoor. Watchet is at bottom of the hill and well worth a visit as is Blue Anchor and Minehead a few miles further down the road.

Nice level site with good size pitches, electric hookups appeared to have good amps never tripped during the stay , a good site for a quiet relaxing stay , the site fees are very reasonable . Having the pub is an added bonus.

The only criticism I would have is the shower/ toilet block is very dated and could do with some investment, however given the pitch fees I can understand why this investment hasn’t been made.
