Nice quiet place in a field behind a pub. Greeted by some lovely sheep walking to the toilet in the morning :)
(I did stay out of season and on a Monday after they'd had a big biker group over the weekend. I also arrived later so there was no campsite staff working, so I think my experience might not have been an accurate example of the usual stay so that is why the scores might seem low - no complaints though)

Never sure why places charge for dogs when they stay in the camper van and don't use the services.

Plenty of space, pub was great, lovely walks from the doorstep, met by super friendly helpful chap.

Everything, it was quiet, well maintained and clean. We had a reasonably priced buffet style breakfast for in the morning and if it wasn't an overnighter I'd most probably stayed for dinner. Even had some sheep visit us in the morning from the adjacent field.

Very reasonable price for two nights stay, breakfast in the pub was excellent.

Very dirty showers not kept clean

There is water and toilet emptying as well as an open space for electric cook up also it’s an adult only site over 18s also the local pub does lovely meals

The scenery and the space

The inept attitude of the staff especially the person who was at the reception, total lack of any interest towards our holiday, might as well had a robot!!

Friendly host went above an beyond for just our one night stay . great choice of fields ..great shower n loo facilities..easy access on and off site with my vw lwb camper . A very dog Friendly pub on site so we didn't have to crawl far to the van after good food an few beers lol..great atmosphere very reasonable prices all round ...definitely will be going back next time we are down that way as it also a good place to explore from ..thanks all at Raleigh cross for a welcoming stay..try it 😎🤙
