Very peaceful adult only site with great pub food on offer

No walking routes in surrounding areas - that we found!

Been there two times already and i could choose each time where to park.
Very good Restaurant with delicious food.
Very friendly staffmembers. ☺️
Theres even a Minigolf place.

It’s hard to find a campsite that’s not overpriced for a small tent with no electric but we’ve finally found one! This is by far one of the best places we’ve camped! Lots of space, friendly staff, decent facilities and the pub has lovely food!

Disgusting dirty showers

Clean campsite, big pitches. Toilets and showers very clean and well maintained.

Food in the pub is lovely, well priced and hot and good portions.

The chap who showed us to our pitch was absolutely lovely!

The bar staff were ok, the young man was nice but one of the ladies in there was very abrupt, verging on rude. I managed it ok but I can see why you have negative reviews on pitch up with the way she talks to people. The other downside was the ridiculous cost of the beer - £7.25 per pint. This will stop us coming again unfortunately as it would be nice to go and have a drink but at this cost, no. Personal preference I know but be aware of this cost before ordering a drink.

Nice and relaxing site with a good pub and plenty of room in the front beer garden to relax with a beer in the sunshine.. We had a nice welcome and were shown a number of pitches to choose from.

The toilets closest to the pitches are unisex and didnt look great from the outside. However, inside they were absolutely fine. There are also separate male / female toilets behind the pub as well as individual shower rooms.

Really enjoyed our weekend here.

Nothing to dislike - apart from the bloke in the next tent keeping half of Exmoor awake snoring.

Lack of washing up facilities (one sink on the entire site so you have to queue at times (that’s not the issue) the issue is only one sink/lack of washing up facilities considering the amount of people/size of place. Definitely need more!

Mouldy shower curtains in unisex showers. This is a health hazard and is just pretty poor!

Shower only stays on for about 8 seconds so you have to hold it on

Broken locks on 2 of the ladies only block toilet doors

Quite dirty in general both showers & toilets in mixed/female only.

Pub is great, staff were friendly but food is over priced for what it is, we were disappointed in our meals, my curry tasted like a microwave meal and the portion was small.

There were so many meals they didn’t have on the menu too… for what ever reason, so we were quite limited.

Not ideal after a 4 hour drive to say the least.

The location was great and pitches are a good size

The shower block could do with upgrading and the sinks need replacing and could do with a second washing up area

The pitches and the area was fantastic.
Being next to the Raleigh's Cross inn allows you to choose wether to eat in the Inn or not and the food is delicious.

Lovely campsite. Got to pick our own pitch (Electric). We opted for just across from washing up area and showers and toilets. Perfect. It's on a slight slope but we had levellers for the camper-van so no problem. 2 lots of toilets and showers in different parts of the campsite. One lot on the field and the other at the back of the pub. They're dated but work perfectly well. (hot water 👍) Had a couple of meals in the pub and they were both delicious! (Wednesday night carvery is beauts)
All in all a fab Monday to Friday, relaxing in the sun (and clouds).
