Great range of facilities. Good food/bar area with friendly staff. Toilets were portable ones but always clean and plenty available across the site. Amazing views across the valley regardless of where you pitched up. Lots of space so if you wanted a quiet spot there was one available.

It would have been nice to have a sink area to clean pots cutlers and cooking equipment but that was only not an issue as I came prepared.

The site was in the most picturesque place. So peaceful and perfect for getting away from the hustle and bustle of the city! We stayed for one night, but would definitely stay longer in future. The village is a short walk away with lots of places to eat and drink. We had a really lovely stay

Big enough to not be crowded even though it was quite busy.

Choice of mown and unmown pitches which meant I could camp in a wild flower meadow.
Location, perfect for the Lake District, the Yorkshire Dales, and the Forrest of Bowland.
Accessibility, dead easy from the M6.
Nice basic no frills camping in a lovely setting and at a reasonable price.

The views of the countryside and that the site was large enough to find spaces away from other campers.

Lack of facilities - only portacabins for toilets and showers, only one sink without any shelter in a field with cold water for washing up.
The site was generally messy, with various farm machinery, materials and waste left lying around.
It was noisy, had a singer performing through a PA from 8 - 11 in a barn on Friday night which could be heard from all ends of the campsite, other guest staying played loud music on car stereos.
Very expensive (£25 per night) for such a basic site, if you have a camper van, you might as well park at the layby a few km to the east for free!

Beautiful farm with lovely stream . We had fun with our family. Nice facilities for toilet and shower. Barn restaurant fits perfectly.

Drinking water could be provided.
