Toilet facilities were always clean and stocked with toilet roll, owners drove around multiple times in the day to check how everyone was doing and asking if they need a top up of fire wood.

Overall very lovely and near by plenty

When booking it stated the ‘kitchen’ would be open if more that 15 pitches were filled, there was more than 15 but never saw or heard anything about it being open

Beautiful area

Completely misrepresented on Pitchup. Who was responsible for this is unclear. We arrived to find a field with portaloos, water tap and nothing else. The advert promised showers, food, bbq packs and a bar. This was bourne out by photos. Nobody around to ask where the showers were so we rang the number on the booking form and were told there weren't any! A refund was offered, which we accepted and it has now arrived in my account. We camped 5 miles away on a beautiful site with spotless facilites for slightly less money.
The description on Pitchup has been amended as far as we can see but the misleading photos remain.

Loved it here, staff friendly and happy to help. Site and looks lovely and clean. Will 100% go back

Needs good washing up area for pots

One of the best camp sights Iv visited , loved it all , we travelled with 4 adults , 4 15 yr old lads , 2 12 yr old girls and a 6 yr old was great for all ages , the town is a ten minute walk n is just lovely , free bouncy castle and slip n slide for the kids , beautiful river surrounding the camp with great spots for swimming , the bar in the barn and live music all weekend was a fantastic bonus plus the beer & wine being served was relatively cheap which was great as we struggled to keep our beers cool during the bank holiday sun , food on sight too which was good as didn’t need to cook constantly with the kids all wanting be fed at different times ,the staff were all brilliant too , will definitely be returning
