The site has great views, it's a very basic site which is what we like, portaloos on site are very clean and maintained, the two guys that came to check on us where very helpful and provided us with a fire pit wood an firelighters. This was our second stay at farm and fell, and we would stay again.

Only a five minute walk into Sedbergh and close to the Howgill Fells.

I chose this site because it is close to Sedbergh and access to the Howgill Fells, to this end it served it's purpose. There are however no showers or proper toilets on the site and upon arrival I could not help noticing quite a lot of litter strewn about. For the amount of money I was charged, I would expect better facilities. The lack of these plus the fact I was on my own makes me feel I was overcharged.

Loved the scenic views from the hilltop so beautiful! The local farm animals grazing in nearby fields made it feel like such a peaceful place to stay. Friendly and helpful staff too.

Nothing to mention.

Easy system, nice owners and nice walks nearby all in all a really nice evening away (I am a first time camper so was perfect to get to grips with all my gear)

Beautiful Views, we've stayed here twice now with our children. An amazing find and a cute little village. Also a river across the road from it for the kids to paddle in.

Great site - loved the setting and sheep/ cows! Nice chat with veteran who fed the animals! Top man - I salute you sir! Stunning venue!

Not sure that there was a shower but toilets and sink perfect!

It has the most beautiful views from all over the campsite, was nice and quiet away from the busy roads but not too far away from shops and cafes, the calves and lambs in the field next to us were a bonus

first time camping and was recommended this place by a friend. The whole area was stunning. Water supply free,Toilets free. Love the fact that your free to choose your own pitch. Bricks provided free for camp fire and they come twice a day to see if you want any fire wood which is £10 for healthy bag.These guys have great plans for the future of this camp and support all veterans and families. Staff are great very helpful especially Nathan who made us feel really welcome. Very excited about all the future plans for this site. 100% we will be returning

Some peoples negative reviews on here, I personally do not understand. complaining about facilities when your in a self sufficient campervan is beyond me.To say about the chickens not roaming free is ridiculous. The live music which they put on only on bank holidays or special events is bonus not to be complained about in my opinion. so in my opinion if your not happy Move! You Are Not a Tree!

Beautiful place. Sedbergh town centre just 10min walk from camp site.
