The electric pitch we booked was of outstanding quality – level, spacious, and immaculately maintained. The on-site facilities were excellent and thoughtfully laid out, making our stay both comfortable and convenient. A particular highlight was dining at the Castle Inn pub. The food was delicious, especially the ham, egg, and chips – the ham is produced right on site, and the quality was superb.
However, what really set Castle Brake apart was the outstanding customer service. Due to severe traffic on the M5, we arrived later than expected, after 6pm. Despite the delay, the team welcomed us warmly and went out of their way to ensure we settled in smoothly. To top it off, when we discovered one of our air mattresses had failed, they kindly loaned us a replacement for the night – an incredibly thoughtful gesture that truly made a difference.
In a world where great service can sometimes be hard to come by, Castle Brake sets a shining example. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this park to anyone visiting Devon, and we already know exactly where we’ll be staying next time we return.
