The campsite has a lot to offer in the way of countryside, being in a picturesque location on the edge of the Rodney Stoke Nature Reserve and Mendip Hills.

We had lovely views from our pitch located at the top end of the campsite.
The pitch itself had both water and electric supply.

We saw people returning to the site from cycle trips and we personally enjoyed a fantastic walk with stunning vistas as well as a visit to the famous Cheddar (which was a 5-10 drive).

The campsite facilities were good - including an indoor pool (+ a smaller one for children) and a small play area in the garden of the restaurant/bar which hosted live music in the late evening.

The campsite has a strict no-noise policy after 12am which was great when camping with young children... (see other comments)

However, being located between Rodney Stoke and Westbury the campsite is somewhat at the mercy of the locals to retain peace during the night; sadly, on this occasion, a neighbouring property was hosting a loud party until 04.30am - which spoilt the trip for my partner who was kept awake until it finished (even with earplugs).

Not so much dislikes but some constructive feedback :

I would suggest to the campsite to continue to build on privacy between pitches.

Add more areas of interest around the site (such as the chair swing - nice touch! or the little animal walk).

A further play area elsewhere on-site would be welcome as well as an an upgrade to the existing one, due to the number of children, and the ages catered for.

Great place to stay over , near Wookey hole a 5 minute drive and cheddar gorge just a bit further on. Clean tidy ,nice showers, will look here again

Felt the grass area of caravan and tent field could have been more up kept it lacks attention felt it was part of the site that gets forgotten about

Disappointed bar/restaurant wasn't open at all on Sunday as not much else to do in area within walking distance

Mogłoby być więcej toalet.

The only thing in the shower was that the water stayed over the floor outside the showers by the toilets
