Masseria Condivisa

A aimé We are a family of four with two daughters (aged 7 and 10), and we stayed here for five nights in our large tent. We visited just before the Italian holiday season, so we were the only guests, and we absolutely loved it. That said, if you're looking for a highly organised campsite with polished facilities and a resort-style atmosphere, this probably isn't the place for you. But if you enjoy simple, authentic places surrounded by nature, this one is really special.

The hosts were still preparing everything for summer and came to the farm each day, but weren't staying there overnight yet. Even so, Angelo was always easy to reach, replied to our messages promptly, happily answered our questions, shared local recommendations and even taught us a little Italian. Everyone else we met was equally warm and welcoming.

The facilities are simple but perfectly functional. The toilet block (with separate ladies' and gent's toilets) is housed in wooden cabins, but inside you'll find clean flushing toilets with running water. We also appreciated that toilet paper, paper towels and liquid soap were provided, which isn't always a given at Italian campsites. The showers are also simple (no roof!), but they're clean, have handy shelves for toiletries and offer great views of the surrounding countryside.

The farm itself is wonderful. There are goats, chickens, ducks, donkeys, dogs, a horse and even a couple of tortoises. Our daughters absolutely loved spending time with the animals. They were allowed to visit the goats and hold tiny chicks (under Angelo's supervision), and we were incredibly lucky that a baby goat was born during our stay. Meeting and gently stroking the newborn the following day was one of the highlights of our stay.

The setting is peaceful and beautifully rural. We spent hours reading and relaxing in our hammock — the cool breeze at the farm made the summer heat much more pleasant than in the nearby towns. We enjoyed cooking outside and eating at the tables and benches around the campsite. It was wonderfully quiet, although I imagine it becomes livelier during the height of the season. The campsite also has two clean, newly installed swimming pools: a larger one and a smaller paddling pool for toddlers, along with a pleasant sunbathing area.

The location is an excellent base for exploring the beautiful towns such of Locorotondo, Alberobello, Ostuni and Polignano a Mare (and many more — ask Angelo for recommendations!), all within an easy drive. There are also supermarkets and other shops in nearby Mottola, around 10 minutes away by car.

Our children didn't want to leave and said it was one of their favourite campsites ever. We felt exactly the same. If you value simplicity, nature, animals and genuine hospitality more than luxury or rigid organisation, this place is a real gem.

We willen er echter op wijzen dat onze accommodatie een authentieke ervaring biedt, midden in de natuur; kenmerken die voorafgaand aan het boeken volledig worden beschreven en op de foto's zichtbaar zijn. Het bestempelen van onze accommodatie als 'primitief', terwijl deze bewust rustiek en duurzaam is opgezet, is op zijn zachtst gezegd oneerlijk. Onze faciliteiten worden voortdurend gereinigd en voldoen aan alle vereiste normen; als u op zoek was naar het comfort van een vijfsterrenhotel, was kamperen waarschijnlijk niet de juiste keuze voor u.

A aimé Perfetto per chi cerca un esperienza nella campagna pugliese a contatto con gli animali (asini, capre, oche, galli, galline, tre bellissimi e affettuosissimi pastori maremmani, un cavallo molto simpatico di nome Silver, ecc.), la Masseria Condivisa è un piccolo agriturismo a conduzione familiare. La prima cosa che ci ha colpito è la tranquillità del posto dove il silenzio era interrotto solo dai versi degli animali e dal suono leggero del venticello passeggero. La posizione è ottima se ci si sposta in auto; in breve tempo, infatti, si raggiungono la maggior parte delle mete più gettonate della Puglia (siamo a mezz'ora da Taranto, un'ora da Ostuni e Alberobello). Viaggiare in auto tra le strade di campagna tra ulivi e trulli rurali è di per sé un esperienza magica, ancor più se arrivati al campeggio è possibile bersi un bella birra fresca guardando il tramonto sugli sdrai lasciati a uso libero della Masseria Condivisa. Angelo e Daniela sono stati accoglienti e gentili e sanno rispondere a qualsiasi vostro dubbio sul posto e sui dintorni (ad esempio se cercate del buon olio d'oliva, lo producono loro!). Particolarmente apprezzato è stata la possibilità di fare il barbecue in autonomia (anche Daniela e Angelo sono disponibili a prepararvi i tizzoni nel caso non aveste voglia). é un luogo dove è possibile fare amicizia con gli altri viaggiatori che come voi cercano uno stile di viaggio pratico e economico. In definitiva è un posto che consiglio a tutti coloro che amano il campeggio e i valori autentici della condivisione rurale.

Sapere che avete apprezzato la tranquillità del posto, i tramonti con la birra fresca, le chiacchiere con altri viaggiatori e anche i piccoli gesti come accendere il barbecue insieme, ci scalda il cuore. Sono proprio questi i momenti che rendono speciale questo angolo di campagna.

A aimé Posto tranquillo, immerso nella natura, dove i proprietari si sono sempre dimostrati gentili e disponibili.
I bagni sono puliti e sempre riforniti di sapone e carta. P
articolarmente apprezzata è stata la possibilità di usare il barbecue, anche se nel nostro caso i proprietari si sono offerti di cucinare le poche cose che avevamo sul loro barbecue, senza che dovessimo preoccuparci del nostro.
Ottima posizione se si dispone di un’auto e si vogliono esplorare città come Alberobello, Matera e Taranto, oppure spostarsi verso il mare.

A aimé A farm camping! Primitive facilities but it all the necessities were there. Exactly what we needed! The host was very hospitable and helpful and even helped fix my car (some roads to the camping have MANY holes, beware!). I speak a little bit of Italian which helped in the communication.
The farm camping also has many animals (dogs, donkeys, chickens, other birds in the area). We are sound sensitive so we had earbuds to help us sleep through the animal noises.
The host warned us that shower at the camping is heated by the sun. Because we were travelling all day we came back late in the evening, so the shower would be cold, but that was to be expected!
I don't know if the camping had WiFi, but the mobile reception works well.
