Aimé Such a beautiful quiet area with power outlets, clean bathrooms and shower.
Didnt smell strongly of manure or have loud farm animals waking you early morning. The managers of the site were very friendly and accommodating. We will definitely come again.

Aimé Lovely little campsite, plenty of information provided ahead of our stay which meant we could just turn up, pitch up and get on with our holiday.
Plenty of space for kids to play. Showers and toilets well kept and clean. Fridge and freezer very useful, especially the freezer this week to freeze some ice packs for our days out!
Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a campsite in the area.

Aimé Beautiful site, very clean toilets, pitches, showers, very welcoming! Definitely recommend this lovely site for camping pitches are big and great for families. We will definitely be back.

Aimé Quite a basic site, with clean and well kept toilets and showers. Located outside Selby and handy for York. Large pitches.

Gorgeous tiny site!

Aimé Brilliant campsite. Really small and perfectly formed. Massive pitches with plenty of room to play but also enough distance between them for it to feel really private. The toilets and showers were always immaculately clean and the washing up area was well appointed. We'll definitely be looking to stay again and will also potentially do the private hire with some other friends with kids. The toy box on site is a lovely touch too, especially as there isn't a play ground so kids still had something different to do.
Also we'd read that it was hard to find buy Google maps took us straight to the gate.

Aimé Lovely secluded campsite, only five pitches spread out across a large field so plenty of space. Near a busy road, but you don’t really notice it on site.
Non aimé Shower heads were fixed straight down, so if you didn’t want to wash your hair it was difficult to use.

Absolute gem

Aimé What an absolute gem of a place. We’ve never stayed anywhere with such big pitches. Toilets and shower were immaculate. Location perfect for exploring the area. Village shop 10 min walk (we didn’t get to try the pub which is by the shop). The location plans sent to us were spot on and we found it first time.
What 3 words would be ideal too.
Just be aware that there is road noise, mainly due to the road surface and the train is nearby. But it was completely tranquil compared to where we live!
Can’t wait to return, loved it.
Non aimé Nothing - just an FYI really, you need transport or a taxi to get anywhere. We were in a camper van and usually like to use public transport to save the hassle of detaching the awning.
The toilets/shower have a sensor for the lighting, if the lights go off when you’re in the shower, just open the cubicle door (I continued in the dark the first time).
Just a suggestion to owners, a little shelf at the side of the shower cubicle would be great for putting spectacles on.
