Belvedere Alpaca Ranch

A aimé Absolutely everything, just as described prior to choosing where we were going to stay. We wanted a peaceful and quiet campsite with spectacular views, surrounded by animals. On this occasion we were blessed with gorgeous friendly fluffy alpacas.

The site was immaculate and the toilet was very pleasant and clean. (these sort of pop-up campsites normally only offer a portaloo so we were very pleased to be greeted by a flushing one).

My phone signal wasn’t at its strongest being in an O2 network (my husband is on EE and his was perfect) however, this was a positive for us being able to just switch off. We knew the site didn’t offer Wi-Fi anyway.

Very friendly host. Will definitely be visiting again. Thank you. 😊

A aimé Lovely little site for an overnight stay. Loved the Alpacas, so it was definitely worth a visit. Lovely location. Loved the honesty box, with all the little extras.

N'a pas aimé Only one toilet 😷. The lock on the gate is incredibly fiddly 😬.

The gate system is just a number coded padlock with a chain wrapped around the gate however we do understand the gate was a little awkward to close due to a delivery van sliding into it a-few days ago. All is rectified now though. Wishing you all the best. X

A aimé It was incredibly peaceful. The owner was really friendly and approachable and the camping area was immaculate. Very close to Bewdley and Kidderminster which was really ideal.

N'a pas aimé There weren’t many things we didn’t like about the campsite but the toilet and washing facility (lack therefore) needs upgrading. There is one singular toilet and no sink. The sanitary options were hand gel. The toilet was an eco system which was not ideal when the campsite got a little busier

Réponse du gestionnaire : Hi Louise, we are really happy you both enjoyed our camp site and the ample amount of space you had around the fire pit all to yourselves in a lovely private corner. The alpacas all really seemed to like hanging out with you.

We would appreciate if you were to visit again that you would kindly use the fire pit to light any disposable bbqs as unfortunately we were left with a large burned patch of grass right next to the fire pit you hired.

Thank you for purchasing logs from us, we would also appreciate it if you could still cover the cost for the kindling and fire lighters you had too from the honesty shop.

As stated in the loo, you are not going to get a double flush instantly- it requires a few minutes to totally refill back to the top however, half flushes are available pretty quickly. Right opposite the loo is a tap along with hand soap, sorry you missed that. Prior to the new fully functioning flushing loo was once a composting loo which was literally a bucket and here we had no complaints. All the same we wish you well and hope you will revisit in the future. X

A aimé Picturesque views, spotless campsite and friendly Alpacas greeted my arrival at last nights booking and to my delight this site came with a delightful host team.
Nestled down by the alpaca’s my two sons 5 and 9 were in their element in the great outdoors, safe and secluded they were left to explore the paddock and it’s charm.
Set with a back drop or rolling hills and a Forest back drop on one side you could pinch me and tell me I was not in New Zealand.
We fed alpacas
We walked the hills
We rode bikes through the forest along the Worcestershire Way
We had open camp fires with Marshmallows
A sky full or stars and shooting stars.

A beautifully quiet nights sleep.
A morning view and a greeting from alpaca’s.
The ranch style stop was a treat in the essence of exactly what it is, like a homestead you don’t want to leave it feels like home.

A aimé Site is well located, very quiet, and has the option of having a fire. Perfect! Also nice having the alpacas walking in a nearby field, my son enjoyed giving the one a hug.

Réponse du gestionnaire : We are very happy you and your other group had a lovely stay with us. We would like to remind you as pointed out on arrival that the toilet facility had been upgraded from a composting loo to a now fully flushing loo which has been plumbed in on an Eco friendly, gravity fed water system which means it will take a couple of minutes to refill inbetween each flush, we have now put up a sign to make this clearer for our Lovely campers. Thank you for pointing this out we hope you will come back and revisit soon. X

A aimé The ranch was amazing, we had a fire pit and cooked all our meals on it as our grandson had joined cubs and I’m am ex scout leader and was letting him experience an open camp.

The toilets are as advertised, clean and useable.

The site was lovely we had pitch 4, which was right along the alpacas who came up to the fence regularly.

The honesty shop was stocked with supplies for a camp and the fire making equipment needed, along with marshmallows and sticks too.

The kids on the site were allowed into the alpaca enclosure, with plenty of photo opportunity.

We are already planning another visit.

N'a pas aimé The water flow to the toilet but wasn’t a real problem as we brought our own, but could be looked into.

A aimé We had the place and alpacas to ourselves. It was so peaceful and the landscape stunning. The owner told us about an amazing pop up brewery about half hours walk away (uphill) that was very enjoyable. We have rebooked for next month!
